Stayed here before around 3 years ago it’s a little dated but believe it’s had new owners since who are trying to renovate it . Paid £44 for 2 people and got a good clean room with a sea view to my surprise. Tea & coffee facilities and good parking- FROST REMOVALS SOLIHULL

Whilst we didn't spend a large amount of time in Loxton (it was too wet for long walks) it was very easy to get to Cheddar, Weston Super Mare and other local towns. The Webbington Hotel's gym, pool and spa is recommended. Take a trip to Cheddar for the caves, walks a quaint shops as well as the pubs and restaurants

Average and my room was decent. Others were not. Mine had recently been refurbished with new carpets and wallpaper but the rest of the hotel was in need of some major TLC. Horrible old dusty carpets throughout, tiny rooms in the other building with no light and generally old and worn. Definitely wouldn’t pay £120 a night to stay here again. I would say more about the 60-80 mark is more suitable.

The location of the hotel benefits from being high up with far reaching views over Somerset countryside. However, although the hotel is warm, homely and quiet inside, the nearby M5 motorway is really noisy - so sitting on the terrace outside the bar is not as pleasant as you might think.
There's plenty of parking though, and the staff were superb.

Good hotel with lots of parking, the staff were lovely & helpful whenever we had a query, breakfast was nice with various choices, nice pool but the changing room was small for both men & women. Good location, a bit off the beaten track but that's its charm with cracking views. The hotel is a bit dated but I'm sure this is in the process of being sorted in the future.I was clean & tidy & our double room was a decent size with en suite.

A hidden gem in Somerset.
A hidden gem in Somerset. About an hour’s walk from the quaint medieval town of Axbridge and short drive from Cheddar and Clevedon. You have to be a walker and countryside person to enjoy this place!
The room was adequate and clean. I would describe it as functional rather than having any 'wow' factor, but this partly due to the age and layout of the main building. On the plus side, this did make a nice change from modern 'box' hotels.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the bar area was particularly pleasant. Breakfast was very good.
The free parking and proximity to the M5, whilst not being right next to it was also very good.
We booked for post Christmas to new year break and loved the fact the hotel had a gym, pool and spa as well as New Years Eve meal and entertainment (which was obviously not included in the price). The staff, without exception, were friendly and courteous. We couldn't fault breakfast - and there were Vegan and Gluten Free options on offer if required. The gym, pool and spa were wonderful - just what was needed for a relaxing get away
Hotel was lovely with really clean rooms and some nice period features. The standard double room was a good size and the views from the pool, terrace and bar over the countryside were stunning.
The leisure club facilities were also really nice and a lovely relaxing added extra to the stay. When we were there plenty of availability when we needed too so we used the pool 3 times in our 2 night stay.
swimming pool was a good size and the staff in both the hotel and spa area were friendly and helpful.
lovely bar and restaurant with good range of food and drinks
great selection of drinks and biscuits in room on arrival.
Beautiful hotel great views and most of the staff lovely. Amenities were brilliant - used the pool, steam room and sauna. Great terrace and evening meal was good as was the breakfast, great variety.
Staff very pleasant, polite, friendly and helpful. Hotel was quiet, clean, grand and in a great location - easy to reach, yet rural and quiet. Very comfy, rooms spacious and clean.
