A modern hotel in the city of Stoke-on-Trent, centrally located within the Midlands and close to Alton Towers, with excellent motorway, road links and rail links to the Northwest..
In a peaceful, rural location, this country house was originally built in 1845. Today, the house has been converted into a luxurious privately owned hotel with many beautiful original features.

It was adequate for one nights stay.
As we were the only guest we had the communal kitchen to ourselves which might not have been satisfactory if being shared.
Perfect for families, friends, business and couples.
Perfect for families, friends, business and couples. So much to do around the area. Local tescos, aldi, halfords, b&m, mc Donald's, Gregg's, and other big named shops. Also there is a retail mall about 10 min drive away. Beautiful area with gorgeous trees and scenery. Local to alton towers and a mile down the road is monkey forest, the uks only place where you can walk amongst 140 monkeys. A must visit!

We went to Alton Towers which was great but extremely expensive and very crowded so only managed 3 rides, due to the queing times.
Didn't really see much more of Stoke apart from our hotel, which was very nice.

As previously stated - there was nothing positive in the slightest. However, on reading some other reviews (wish I’d read them before booking) it was reassuring to see similar comments and photographs. As for those people giving it 9/10 and 10/10 reviews are either from the hotel, or being paid to write a totally dishonest review. The place is desperate…and no matter how you try to dress it up - it is not fit for purpose and should be removed from booking.com

My husband chose the holiday.
My husband chose the holiday. I booked the hotel and its location as I was born in Stoke on Trent. It was near to Wedgwood World and other attraction we wanted to visit. The area has changed vastly since I lived there and we relied on a Satnav to get around by car. We stayed for 4 nights. On the last day we visited Trentham gardens shopping centre which was well worth the visit. However, we spent more time there and didn't get to see the gardens which were done by Capability Brown. The swimming pool we used to visit when I was a child was long gone and I would have been interested to visit the gardens. We would stay in this hotel again due to its convenient location.. Stoke on Trent is the 'Potteries'. It's industrial era cam to a close in the 20th century with its coal mines closes, pottery firms moved out and the Shelton steel works closed down. I haven't lived there for over 50 years and it was good to come back to see the town is still thriving. I did not visit the Stadium or Regent Theatre. I did visit Moorcroft and Middleton potteries. We would have visited Gladstone pottery but it was closed.
This is not a hotel it is a terrorist house in a slum area of Stoke to get in you have to get a key from a lock with a combination!
The room was small and the bedding was dirty.
There was not breakfast as advertised!
We complained and was that it was fine we refused to stay there and booked into a proper hotel and was told that we would not be refunded!
Extremely unhappy do not book unless you like to stay in a slum area
Hosts go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome. By far the best service I've had at a B&B and I've stayed in hotels all over the world. Couldn't recommend this place enough, if you're staying in Stoke, you should stay here. The rooms are immaculate and the beds are super comfy too!
the hotel is well places for Newcastle Under Lyme and Stoke on Trent. It’s is really well run, lots of staff who are very approachable and willing to help. the restaurant is lovely with a very good menu and good food and wine. The bar is spacious and open for guests at times that suit.
The hotel was everything me an my daughter needed for a few days at alton towers. Was an amazing stay and a perfect location with an aldi, petrol station an McDonald's all a stone throw away. I would definitely stay there again an recommend to others also.
Comfy and spacious. Appreciated little touches - milk and choc in fridge. Very friendly, helpful & informative hosts. Why pay more for a Premier Inn/Travel Lodge when you can experience Holly Grove Farm! Would definitely recommend and will return.
This is nice hotel to stay and wonderful location you can easily go to town. The bus stop is near your hotel .The management system is very well specially the name of the person sujoy is very nice person.Sujoy help me and guide me very nicely
This is a big hotel, with very large airy rooms, restaurant and bar - felt very clean and comfortable. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Every effort made to compensate for ongoing renovation and lack of some amenities.
The location of the hotel was great for access to the University campus and the train station. Given that the hotel wasn't too busy we were able to park in the small carpark to the front of the hotel.
That there is now a premier inn at the bottom of the same road so will be staying there on my next visit, the staff were very friendly and was the only bonus to my stay at the hotel
Location: Easy to find and access.
Room: Big, clean and well maintained
Heating: Yes
Food: Restaurant + Pub available. Also, several shops near the hotel
Staff: Very supportive
Location: just at the end of the center of the city, 2 minutes to the station, working distance to Stoke and the shopping center Hanley ( 45 and 60 min ) but bus 15 and 25 min.
