Beautiful quiet patio full of lemon trees, where you can have breakfast or dinner. Delicious pastries for breakfast and even better coffee served by the staff.
Great location, very close to the Pompeii museum, local cafe's (if you will and want to try your luck finding better coffee then the one you'll be served for breakfast).

The hotel was within walking distance of the railway station and busstop, plus only a few hundred metres from the entrance of the Pompei ruins. The bus took us to the entrance of the Vesuvius, ideal for our destination, the walk to the top. (no toilets there, so go at the station/bus stop)
Located next to the Pompei Santuario Station, Hotel Palma is just a short stroll away from Pompeii’s ancient ruins. Enjoy views of Mount Vesuvius from its panoramic terrace.
Hotel Calypso is sure to leave you with happy memories. Set 10 minutes' stroll from the station and the ruins, this small hotel is renowned for its friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

The location was great, 15 mins walk to the Ruins and the centre. Parking on site is a real bonus. The host was really welcoming and friendly, even though her English and our Italian wasn’t great, we managed fine.
The room was basic, but had all you needed for a short stay. Breakfast was continental as expected and it was sufficient.
Whilst this little unassuming hotel doesn’t look much from the outside, you’ll find the rooms clean and sufficient for a short stay, the staff friendly and helpful, so give it a try if your in Pompei, as it really is in a great location for the price.

easy to get around pompeii. hotel close to ruins, cathedral and plenty of choice to eat. i would avoid the 3rd floor of the habitat hotel with the roof garden and bar as very noisy when an event is on, apartment 301 is the room i was in. was not told of the event even though it was for one night until midnight. there was no bed settee in the bedroom as advertised, but there was a bed settee in the living room, but not made up with sheets or duvet. overall we were pleased.

The ruins are incredible and vast.
The ruins are incredible and vast. There aren't many places to get food/toilet so plan for this accordingly. It was absolutely heaving when we went (a random week day in May) and this did impact the experience.
There's a lovely place to get ice cream just a short walk from the entrance to the ruins and a really beautiful church down the road.
We found the people to be somewhat surly (and that's with an Italian speaking member of our group).

Very good place to stay and get trips around - old Pompei town, Pompei main street, Vesuvius mountain, and other nearby places like - Naples, Sorrento and others which can be reached easily by the train.
The town is very well maintained and it is very clean, bearing in mind the amount of tourists it gets.

Obviously the ruins (Scavi) are the main draw, but the town is very pretty. The Catholic Basilica does not have the size of the major basilicas in Rome, but it is just as beautiful. You do not have to stay here in order to see the ruins, but it does make it a less hectic experience. The ruins are free on the first Sunday of every month and on certain holidays. We went for free on Liberation Day (25 Apr).

Definitely a great place to stay to see the nearby...
Definitely a great place to stay to see the nearby attractions but, despite having three train stations, the transport links are not great. We were based here for a week and found the public transport frustrating. Last minute platform changes for trains only announced in Italian and giving insufficient time to change to the right platform. Buses leaving up to ten minutes early or not stopping. There is a Flixbus to Sorrento but it only gives three and a bit hours on a day trip from Pompei. To visit Capri we had to have a night in Sorrento which was an unexpected extra expense. On a final note if you eat gluten free the choice is fantastic. It is understood and catered for!

Pompeii is a lovely and cozy and absolutely beautiful town!
Pompeii is a lovely and cozy and absolutely beautiful town!
As a solo female traveler I always felt very safe, and I was able to fully enjoy and explore both the city, and the sights like the ruins and mount vesuvius.
Note that there aren’t any Ubers or any easy way to get a taxi if you’re staying a little outside the main city core (I stayed at a 30 minute walk away from the Main Street), but it’s very walkable and there’s pavement all around, and some busses if you can figure them out but I generally just walked everywhere :)
There’s also areas for parking if you’re bringing/renting a car or even for campers and RV’s right next to the city centre (abt 3-5min walk from the Main Street).
The Pompeii ruins are a must visit and I recommend going with a guide that’s also an archeologist, I found several tours including the one I took that also went to Herculaneum via GetYourGuide. There I also found the “tour” (just a shuttle bus really) that went to the highest entrance of Mount Vesuvius (leaving a 20min/1km hike to the top of the crater) which was also very cool and I definitely recommend going there too while you’re in Pompeii!
Very cute little B&B with thoughtfully decorated and themed rooms! Andrea was amazingly helpful with making sure I was able to check in when I got there, and I had very convenient private parking. Was served the best coffee and an amazing breakfast spread in the morning. The hotel is right across the street from the Pompeii ruins, and I was able to leave my bags in a secure garage whilst I explored the next day after checkout.
We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Ettore! We both agreed that this was the nicest place we stayed during our trip to Italy by far. The room was beautiful and much bigger than our suite in Maiori that cost twice as much. The owner was very kind and knowledgeable about the area. We loved his close the place was to both the train station and the ruins. We would definitely stay there again.
You'll truly feel like you're staying in a renovated Pompeii house! Perfectly located just 5 minutes walk from the entrance to the Pompeii ruins (Porta Marina) and 5 minutes to the modern town center of Pompeii. Andrea will meet you and help you with anything you may need. Beautiful bathroom including one of the largest showers in an Italian hotel room. Highly recommended
Located steps from the train station and the town center. The basilica is a five minute walk and can be seen from the B and B. the entrance to the Archeological Park is within walking distance. There is also a winery 15 minutes from the B and B.
The room is modern and bright. The bed was comfortable and there was a full size shower which is not seen to often in Italy!
1. Location is perfect. Just nearby the entrance to old Pompei. This is what tourists is loooking for in Pompei.
2. Personnel is friendly and quick in help and all you want.
3. NALA. SHE IS GORGEOUS, OH MY LOVE
4. One of the Best breads i have eaten in Italy for Last few years. Whole breakfast was good too.
5. Owner is doing everyrhing to make you feel like at home
Good location nearby Pompei ruins (1 km) and train station (500m - easy way around or to Napoli). Comfortable large room with quality bed, nice shower, conditoner/heater, shared kitchen and private parking. Just perfect “value combo” for staying around as long as needed. The owner do his best to support you. My respect!
This hotel was by far the best I've ever stayed at in Italy. Good size, clean and quiet room with modern furniture, lovely design, amazing café with breathtaking views over the archeological park, delicious breakfast, friendly staff. I booked an economy room but they gave me an upgrade as a surprise, free of charge!
Free pastry and coffee at an incredible bakery less than a minute away. The owner and daughter could not have been nicer. Modern, spacious and the best place we stayed in our three week Italy vacation. Would book the exact same place again and again. A ++++
A lovely apartment with a balcony ideally situated to visit the ruins of Pompei. The place was very clean throughout and the quality of the furnishings and fittings was the best we experienced during our time in Italy. We would not hesitate to use it again.
Excellent location, awesome music-themed room, clean, comfortable, with a well-working air conditioner for the hot mid-July days of Italy. Great varied breakfast. Very close to the Pompei Ruins. Nearby parking lot options that are inexpensive. 10/10
the location was excellent. was within walking of train station and Pompeii. breakfast was served there and dinner was possible ad well. There was parking available as well which is a hot commodity in Italy.
Comfortable, clean, well appointed. Excellent breakfast in lovely room. Convenient, close parking. Across the street from the rear entrance to Pompeii ruins....the best way to enter the site. A gem.
Excellent location: close to Pompei ruins, grocery and restaurants. Excellent host who put on a fantastic breakfast with the best cappuccino and espresso! Communication response was very quick.
Anna was the best host. She was very friendly and kind. She answered any questions we had. The B&B was also very clean and comfortable. It was at a good location, close to the Pompeii ruins.
The room was clean and beautifully designed.
The manager of the hotel gave us a lot of advices regarding sightseeing.
