We were not given a Junior Suite as per the pictures and...
We were not given a Junior Suite as per the pictures and facilities in our booking. We were given a downgrade. Our window view was completely blocked by an advertising banner. When I reported this to the front desk they said that we have to wait a few hours for them to change the room which was ridiculous as we didn’t check in early and they should have given us a suite on checkin based on our booking. We didn’t have time to wait around for a room change as we had an evening tour booked. A real disappointment for a Radisson. The parking and access to the hotel was also problematic as the roads were blocked. After walking a few blocks to the hotel on arrival, they informed us that access is blocked on weekends. The lounge only had drinks during the day. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast at the lounge was really good and the service from Sachin during breakfast was great.

A city that has alot to offer for tourists who love culture . A lot of musea and historical buildings worth visiting (eg the parliament building or casa ceaucescu ) . And a lot cheaper than any Western European city .

The city offers something for everyone!
The city offers something for everyone! Be careful where you stay. Public transport is great but it can be useful to have a rental car. It can be really great to combine pleasure with personal business. I found a superb dental clinic, 5 star with everything in house but for a fraction of the cost. In-house CT, microscopic surgery and high quality implants. Afterwards go to the Therme next to the airport and have a day of leisure with or without children!

Check what needs to be booked a day in advance (parliament building) and what doesn't. Do your research on what you want to do, you can probably wrap it all up quite quickly, clothes shopping isn't great so if you over estimate the length of stay there's nothing to do (though you can book day trips to Bulgaria or Thermae etc). Sera Eden (non-Romanian food) and Caru' Cu'Bere (Romanian food) were great for food. It is very easy to walk everywhere.

Bucharest is...ok. It's efficient, pretty enough, and I have no regrets about going. But it's not wildly spectacular or anything. You have to drive a couple hours out into the countryside if you want to do any nice hikes or go to the beach. It's also not especially cheap. Not crazy expensive, either. Just...ok.SaulIsrael

Being on the edge of the Old Town means it's quieter than most hotels in the area but everything is on your doorstep. The staff are great, the breakfast is good, and the rooms are just what you need for a city break.
