Although the room was nice, it smelled and had very little natural light. Disappointing for a suite!

It was located right next to the venue we attended
Extended Stay America Suites - Providence is located in Providence, 2.5 km from Rhode Island School of Design Museum of Art and 2.9 km from Brown University.
The King Suite was amazing and perfectly set up. It had plenty of space and 2 separate ac/heat units so we were able to keep both rooms at the perfect temps. The shower was great for pressure and hot water settings. The room had 2 big tv’s and living room side had plenty of seats and a great couch as well.
There is a club attached to the hotel with live music which was great and the hotel had a small bar with an amazing Bartender. He was funny and could hold a great conversation with all of us at the bar of all ages. The price for drinks wasn’t too bad either.
Some of the things I didn’t like was the pricey breakfast as they do not have a buffet style you have to order individual items off a menu. It cost us $50 for 2 people to have breakfast and a coffee. Also the pillows on the bed were not that great, they could use an upgrade for the price you pay to stay here.
All in all it was a fun hotel stay and was great to see all the staff smiling and willing to help/answer anyone’s questions. The hotel is run by good people you can tell by the quality of the staff. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip back to RI.

Providence is an amazing art and culture city that has a million things to do, from big museums, a large mall and great restaurants, all the way to small book stores, bars and galleries tucked away everywhere. Plus, it's small and you can experience the city, the beach, the forest, all of Rhode Island quickly and easily. Plus, a great LGBTQ+ scene in a very accepting environment

The trip was great!
The trip was great! A weekend is a nice amount of time to spend. The food is really good, try Nicks on Broadway and sit at the bar to watch the kitchen. The zoo is wonderful, make sure you ask when the elephants will be inside. Gather Glass was another stop to make ornaments, really great group and a fun experience. Would highly recommend Providence for a weekend stay!

Providence is a nice small city with several universities, including Brown, which we went to for a graduation. It is very manageable to walk around, is very proud of its old buildings (many old homes) and protects them with historic preservation status. Many have plaques with names and dates of construction.
It is also near Newport, Wickford, and Jamestown and all the history associated with those port cities and their wealthy patrons.

I hate staying in hotels that are small, old and off the beaten path. The Dean hotel is all those but I loved it. From the original floor to the outstanding attitudes of the workers, I wish I could have stayed longer. They were so helpful in telling me some good places to eat and see. I will surely stay there again the next time I'm in Providence. I can't say enough about this hotel. You have to experience it to know what I'm saying. Make sure you eat at Murphey's pub which is right next door. The house pickles are fantastic and I can't say when I've had better fish and chips. Take the time to walk downtown and see the sights . So much better than driving.
The shared bathroom was clean and well-maintained, and I rarely encountered other guests using it, making it feel like a private bathroom for most of my stay.
Street parking, including overnight parking, is relatively easy to find, as long as you avoid the really busy hours. Note that the official City of Providence website states that overnight parking is not allowed, but this was not indicated on any street signs, and we were able to park on the street for free for three nights without any issues.
An amazing old house (mid-19 century) that would definitely be interesting to see how these houses look from inside . Well located on the main street ( Broadway) within 20 min walking distance to downtown. Has a private parking with 4-5 places and several good cafés nearby. The district is quiet. The owners are welcoming and are very comfortable to communicate to. The house has a history , so if you are interested - it could be a bonus.
The location was perfect and close to everything. They also have the best karaoke bar attached to the hotel itself. We got the suite and it was very roomie with large windows. I had a cake that I needed to stay chilled and the staff was very accommodating in keeping it cold since there are no mini fridges in the rooms. The coolest feature was the old fashion elevator that looks like it came straight from the roaring 20s.
Hip, clean, newish hotel steps from the pedestrian bridge right on the Providence River. Stylish, playful, and cozy room w/ a comfortable bed and bathroom. A big, flat-screen TV w/ free streaming platforms. Unique common areas and friendly staff. Our room was very quiet and we were able to park in a garage nearby (by the medical school) for just $10 for the night.
The price, definitely was cheaper than a hotel in downtown. Location wasn't too bad. Walkable to some shops, restaurants. Fullitchen. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Tvs in the rooms. Roku and streaming apps. Big living room area. Easy and quick response for landlord.
It was a fabulous surprise to get a little something delivered to our room to celebrate our 5th anniversary; truly, above and beyond.
Housekeeping was flawless, and every interaction with staff was a positive one.
This is definitely our new Providence hotel of choice.
a five minute walk from Providence rail station and right on the edge of town. it took us 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to Water Fire. loved the below ground bar - barman was amazing and seemed to keep everyone smiling, laughing, and with full glasses
The hotel was located directly off the highway and right next to the Providence Plaza, so made it very convenient to park in the parking garage and be able to walk around the corner in the morning for some shopping.
Room was exceptionally large and comfortable. The decor was entertaining and lively. Plenty of room to be comfortable for a longer stay. Would honestly go to Providence just to stay at this hotel again.
Spacious apartment with plenty of room, a full kitchen, and easy parking. Although the cleaning fee is high, overall it's a great value. It's a very short trip to all downtown Providence has to offer.
The breakfast was just okay, it did not match the hotel. There could have been more hot choices, especially items like scrambled eggs, which you can get at much cheaper hotels.
Great location, close enough to walk around Providence. Quick lifts. Lovely room. Great breakfast options - coffee, juices, waffles, eggs, cereals, fresh fruit.
Staff in reception were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is gorgeous- oozing 1920s glamour. It’s close to the train station and a short walk to the river.
