Only a 10-minute walk from Mirabell Palace, the Congress Centre, and the main train station, and a 15-minute walk from the Old Town, the modern, non-smoking Das Jedermann Boutiquehotel mit Stadtgarten... we stayed in one of the rooms that have direct access to the garden, the room was more spacious than we expected, very clean, with new furniture. The place was very quiet and we were able to relax and rest properly. Close to a few restaurants, supermarkets, and a 15 min walk to the city center. The bus to the airport was 5 minutes away.

Breakfast (vegetarian and largely organic) is substantial.

Meininger Hotel Salzburg City Center is 2 km from the Old Town and offers rooms with a flat-screen TV. WiFi is available throughout the hotel for free. I recommend this hostel. Very helpful staff. Rooms clean as well as the showers and rooms. Close to the town center. No problem with car park.

Rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Breakfast is also good. The location is not that great but the staff are excellent!

Located at the foot of the Kapuzinerberg Mountain, the Dorint City-Hotel Salzburg is a 15-minute walk from the Old Town and the Main Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available. It was more than I expected, very clean, newly updated, good location, friendly and helpful staff, rooms are big, recommend!!! Also Breakfast surprised me, very clean and great quality food, good selection.

The Holiday Inn Salzburg City, an IHG Hotel, is only a 10-minute walk away from the Mirabell Gardens and a 15-minute walk from the Old Town. From checking it to departure we found the hotel to be an accomodating and restful place to stay.
