Set in central London's fashionable Clerkenwell area, The Rookery offers charming rooms with elegant period furnishings and free WiFi. We will rebook The Rookery when we next visit London. The staff were exceptionally accommodating , friendly and helpful. We arrived early and left late and this was generously managed. The location was convenient and quiet, in close proximity to the tube. We didn’t have a stand up shower but enjoyed the bath .

Attractively situated in London, YOTEL London City features air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This 4-star hotel offers a bar. My room was clean and compact, and had everything I needed as a solo traveller. Towels were thick and fluffy, water pressure was great and instantly hot, and the shower amenities smelt great (from Urban Jungle). There was more than enough space for me to move around as my luggage could fit nicely under the bed. Overall, it was more than enough space for me as a solo traveller, and would work for couples. Ample hangers and areas to place my stuff, as well as a cleverly folded up chair. I could see myself staying longer if I was in the city for a longer time.
