This Hotel Du Vin is situated in central Newcastle, with breathtaking views over the quayside and the River Tyne. It offers luxurious accommodation a few minutes’ walk from Manors Rail Station. The on-site restaurant was good although the breakfast was the standout meal we had. Dinner was uneven. My family had an excellent beef bourguignon, and the mussels I ordered were delicious. I also had a steak, but it was underwhelming and overcooked. Overall the meal was still good especially the pot du chocolate!
