Everything is perfect about this hotel. Expensive? Yes! However, worth the extra money. Breakfast was excellent and all the stuff is amazing.

I particularly liked and appreciated very much the staff professionalism, friendliness and willingness to help, no matter what requests. We came for just a few days to celebrate a birthday and enjoy the local nature. Very friendly and helpful staff gave us a nice surprise! Breakfast is not very varied, but we liked it. There is a small swimming pool on the roof of the hotel, which we used once. The roof offers a beautiful view of the city and the sunrise. As for the room, we liked the good soundproofing and water pressure:) Everything was very nice.

Set within tropical gardens on Madeira Island, this charming guesthouse features far-reaching sea views and 2 outdoor seawater pools, one of which is heated in winter period. Fantastic hotel! Rustique and tasteful design.

Hotel Catedral offers elegantly decorated rooms in Funchal’s city centre. It features panoramic views of the area. It also offers free WiFi, as well as free parking. Great location, good size room. I only stayed one night and it certainly did the trick.
