This San Francisco bed and breakfast features a modern, environmentally conscious design. Free WiFi access is available in the shared lounge. I didn’t eat breakfast at the hostel but had some tea which was good. The hostel itself was very quiet which I liked. People were pretty respectful about the volume, as it seemed like no one was there! The room was clean and it was a good amount of space for 2 people. The washrooms and shower was really clean, and they provide toiletries like shampoo and body wash if you need it. The location is good as it’s close to public transit stations and coffee shops nearby.

Serving a daily breakfast buffet and 24-hour refreshments, Inn San Francisco offers guest rooms with authentic Victorian décor and free WiFi. This B&B is 2.4 km from San Francisco City Hall. Our stay at Inn San Francisco was a “we got it right” booking moment! The house is absolutely beautiful, charming and welcoming. Liza, Marty and Evelyn are each so lovely and were extremely helpful with everything we needed, and great to chat with. Our room was fabulous, all original furniture and fixtures from the time it was built, which we loved. Totally charming. The outdoor hot tub is a relaxing way to chill out after a day of wandering and sightseeing. The daily breakfast is divine, good choice of fresh food, coffee, tea, serving at a civilised time between 8-11am. There’s coffee, tea and other hot drinks available 24/7 in the main lounge. The lounge/breakfast room is welcoming and cosy, we enjoyed chatting with other guests. There’s a huge range of books and games. It feels like your own grand, charming home - if only for a few days!! Something else I need to mention is the brilliant location. Right near shops, restaurants, parks, bars - fabulous vibe. Liza, Marty and Evelyn will give you some tips I’m sure. Union Hotel is located in San Francisco, less than 1 km away from Dolores Park and 1.7 km away from San Francisco City Hall. Great location and amazing staff! Expensive, but reasonable for San Francisco so good value in context haha
