We eventually got to our room at 1535 Hot water did not emerge from the taps for at least 10 minutes and I gave up waiting on the first morning There was a world of difference between the 5 star hotel at Levenois 2.5 I’m away and both my wife and I query the 4 star rating as the whole property needs capital expenditure

The new house and garden have been very thoughtfully put together and to a high standard, showing the personal input of the owners at every stage. Like a 5 star hotel in terms of comfort and furnishings and far superior to most local hotels. Excellent reception by the owners who run a successful wine merchants in town, demonstrated by the choice of bottles in the specialist wine fridge. We will be back in the summer.
