Very friendly host! Located just a few minutes walk from PV. So everything close, but not in the middle of the noise. You can rent bikes from the hostel. The kitchen is huge and well equipped! Rooms are nice with a nice balcony and view. Even saw a sloth. At the end I became best friends with the friendly cat :)

The owners are three wonderful ladies who will do everything do help you out during your stay. They also rent bikes so you can get to town and beaches easily within 20 minutes. They gave plenty of recommendations for places to visit as well. Definitely worth a stay!

Puerto Viejo, what a special place on earth! Myself and my friend loved staying at Hotel Exotic Lodge. Great location and access to the beach trails which is literally accross the road. There’s a special hairy resident in the garden tree’s, if you are lucky, you can spot him hanging around. It was the closest we got to a sloth. We also woke up one morning to howler monkeys, we couldn’t of asked for a more immersive jungle experience, wow :) We ended up extending our stay, thats how much we loved it. Its simple and charming, hosted by a lovely family who recommended us some great places to visit that will forever hold a place in our hearts!
