Rooms on the High Street is set in Portree, 27 km from Talisker Distillery, and offers free WiFi throughout the property. The hostel has family rooms. We were very happy with our 3-night stay here. The 3 of us stayed in a room that did not have an ensuite bathroom, but it was just a step across the hall to it and this was not an inconvenience at all. Both the room and bathroom were spotless when we arrived. The location in downtown Portree gave us access to many of Skye's sights, and there were lots of eating options within a short walk each night. This is a very nice place to stay, with staff who gave excellent directions about the check-in process.

Facing the seafront in Kyleakin, Skye Backpackers features barbecue facilities. Among the various facilities are a garden and a shared lounge. Everything was good. Cleanliness of the room and the kitchen facilities were more than expected. The staff was really friendly. I highly recommend this to anyone who would like to sleep in a comfortable bed while staying on a budget.

The Hostel is near at all amenities of Broadford. Ten minutes by foot. The room has a wonderful wiew. At the roof there are shower and w.c. alway super clean. The kitchen with all accesory for a warm meal and more, the table space clean and spacious. The lounge has great windows and it is the perfect place to relax ourselves. The pillow and the mattress are the best that I have ever slept on. But overall the wonderful, helpfully and friendly staff that work hard to become the hostel the comfortable place that it is.
