‘The View’ at Sunnybank offers outstanding panoramic views across the Mid Wales/ Shropshire countryside. Located on Offa’s Dyke path this newly renovated two bedroom property is set in a uniquely tranquil spot. With it’s own secluded balcony the view of the Cordon Hill is simply stunning. Guests can enjoy their own patio and garden with bbq, private woodland which is filled in the spring with bluebells. This light and airy property has two double bedrooms, toilet with shower, galleried seating upstairs looking out on the upstairs balcony. Downstairs is a small but beautiful kitchen dining area with stunning views across the shrubbery. A relaxing sofa and TV. The property also has stables and all weather riding surface and road access to superb hacking so it’s possible to bring your horse on holiday too! Ideal for walkers, riders or anyone who loves the countryside. Please note, dogs are welcome but MUST be prearranged with the owner. Please message after booking, dogs are limited to two and must not enter the bedrooms or go up on the furniture. An extra charge will be applicable.
The View is ideal for castle lovers with Montgomery castle ruins, beautiful Powys Castle, and Dolforwyn Castle all within 5 miles of the property. The Llanfair light steam railway runs from Welshpool to Llanfair most days, booking will be necessary. Welshpool Market town is located six miles away with all amenities including supermarket, leisure centre, golf course. Offa's dyke runs through the property offering walks the length of Wales! We don't have a village shop, however. we do have two great pubs and a fabulous Indian take away.
