From the minute we arrived to the minute we left there was a warm inviting atmosphere. The owners and staff were lovely.. The room was well decorated and spotlessly clean. We had all the facilities we required. The bed was comfortable which added to having a good night's sleep. We eat there on both nights as the food was of such good quality and staff were very efficient and friendly.

Rob and Amy are great hosts. I was super late in the evening reaching Worksop, and Rob not only took my call but also picked us up from the station. Amy also cooked a nice meal for us both, despite the kitchen being officially closed that evening. I couldn't have asked for more. Rooms are nice, it's a very cosy comfy place. Next time in Worksop, I know I am going there again.

The Forest Lodge is an event venue and 18th century pub located in Edwinstowe, 320 metres from beautiful Sherwood Forest and next to St Mary's Church which is a historic Grade I listed parish church... everything about the hotel was great very good staff could not have been helpful . the bedrooms very clean ,beds comfortable , bathrooms fantastic . the hotel very welcoming lots of car parking.The breakfast was very good plenty to choose from everything was cooked to order so all food was nice and hot the staff serving very nice nothing was too much trouble. we had a meal in bar on our first night food was really nice again lots of choice could not have been better. the hotel is set a few minutes away from tourist hotspots Sherwood Forest / cumber park.

Situated in the Nottinghamshire village of Sutton-on-Trent, this 200-year-old inn offers pub accommodation just off the A1. Lovely hosts and staff. Food excellent. Nice location and a couple of minutes to a quaint village. Easy transport links. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely little pub friendly staff , friendly locals pool table even entertainment on sat night .. Food was exceptional.❤️ Loved the fish in saffron batter 😋. Hubby loved the gammon that much he had it 2 nights running.outside space for kids swing ball area to run around big carpark . Parking right next to room . .Room was good size,, extremely clean good selection of extras too .Table provided out side room if you are a smoker or just want to watch the sun come over top of church first thing in morning ....or see the moon shining over the top of the church on a clear night . Great value for money ... We will return 😁😁😁😁😁😁.Thank you so much for a lovely stay 👍👍👍👍👍👍 When researching village it had been there since 1086 want to go back and explore some more .
