Lorraine and Kev are the perfect hosts. Jacuzzi bath was a godsend after a full day of exploring. Everything there you could possibly need plus more.

There were so many little classy extras, too many to mention. The full English breakfast was perfect, including cereals, fresh orange juice, jams and marmalade....fabulous. Yvonne was the perfect hostess, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It was really nice meeting Graham at the end of our stay.

Located 21 km from Victoria Baths, the property provides a garden and free private parking. An absolutely fantastic stay at Tanyard Barn. The Barn is finished to an extremely high standard and has absolutely everything you could need. It is private and secluded with lovely views. Prior to us arriving we received a message to confirm our arrival time and that we would be met at the property and that the hot tub would be ready for us to enjoy! Dennis met us as agreed and gave us a brief tour of the property and explained anything we needed to know including local walks. Tanyard Barn had all the amenities you could want and the hot tub was lovely and clean. The hot tub is under a covered area so you are protected from the elements whilst still being able to enjoy the beautiful scenery around. The things that really stood out and made this an exceptional stay, where the fantastic little touches that had been put in place by the owners. These included freshly made bread and blondies, juice, milk and oat milk in the fridge as well as some small bottles of red and white wine, sparkling wine and beer! There were even thoughtful touches such as face masks to enjoy and provision of some essential toiletries in case you forget anything. The owners really go above and beyond to give you the luxury and personal touches for your stay. Robes and slippers were also provided which made getting to and from the hot tub comfortable. The Barn is in a fantastic location for hiking straight out the door and is lovely and secluded. it is however only 4 or 5 mins walk from a brewery and little village with country pubs in it. Dennis was easily reached and responsive when we need to contact him. We cant praise the place, location and hosts highly enough and we would absolutely stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The property is non-smoking and is set 24 km from Buxton Opera House. it’s a beautiful cottage, filled with thoughtful additions to make our stay enjoyable. Matt and Ginny left Derbyshire pancakes and honey for us, as well as tea, milk, coffee …and a coffee machine. We all loved the hot tub, and the special towels and slippers made it extra special. My daughter arrived first, on foot in the dark and was a little lost, but Matt rang her to help her find her way and met her at the cottage. Lots of logs, comfy beds and squishy carpets made this a lovely place to stay and we would happily return. our dog doesn’t go on sofas etc but there are rugs just to protect little furry friends, as well.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, the allergy-free holiday home has a hot tub. It was in an idyllic location, and very quiet. The hot tub was the highlight with pubs and shops in walking distance which was a plus. The property was very well presented with incredibly comfy beds and sofas - they provided blankets which was a lovely touch. The kitchen had everything you needed - though some cooking oils would have been a nice bonus but we managed! The welcome hamper was also a lovely surprise :)
