A gorgeous spot in Knysna! The view from the balcony was breathtaking. We enjoyed star gazing during the load-shedding. Also, a perk is that the WiFi and TV still work during load-shedding. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious, and we felt very safe during our stay. The hosts were also kind enough to let us check out later than originally planned. Truly, a wonderful spot.

The hosst are extremely friendly and helpfull. We received so many tips and great restaurant recommondations from Debbie an Chrystal. The room had enough space with a huge bathroom and balcony. The view from our room and also the breakfast room is marvellous. Breakfast is a two course meal which is freshly prepared. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest!

We were warmly welcomed by Monique and Matthias, the lodge is lovely, inviting, and relaxing . it was a short walk to the lagoon. Breakfast was amazing. it was the best breakfast we have ever had.

everything felt so considered. from the linen to the curated art on the walls to the fresh flowers and stacked wood for both the indoor fire and outside Weber. the outside deck is the perfect place to read and listen to the forest sounds. The rooms are so lovely and dark at night with no light pollution. The outside bath amongst the spearmint and delicious monsters was a treat. the kitchen is well appointed and we were able to prep and cook and plate delicious meals over the festive season. Our hosts who live on the premises popped in to welcome us and Hannes and DP personally delivered a beautiful homemade Christmas tree to us on Christmas Eve. The garden is designed with indigenous plants and trees to give the cottage privacy on the premises. Location is adjacent to the goudveld state forest that we rode and hiked in daily. Being pet friendly meant we could have our dog with us with who integrated well with the friendly dogs loving on the premises. We loved out 6 night stay and hope to find a gap in the diary to go back soon.

I loved everything about the apartment, to the friendly warm staff to the manager, so sweet! Our room was so clean and refreshing! The swimming pool was just out of this world! My son and I really enjoyed every bit of experience we had there. Would definitely go the again.

The location is stunning and the rooms we rented were large. The staff were all extremely friendly and Cher and Cheryll looked after us very well. We had an extremely relaxing and laid-back stay at the Leisure Isle Lodge.
