Staff were so friendly & a special mention to Ben the manager & Lillie & Bea, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. As a former Hampshire lady myself now living in Denmark, it was so exciting to bring my Danish husband to Wiltshire, a county he hadn’t seen before. The village is so pretty~ it’s a little tricky to get to with all the tiny country roads, but once you find the village you’ve found a little gem in the Wiltshire countryside! Dinner and breakfast were delicious too!

The Manor House is a stunning 14th-century building set in 365 acres of secluded parkland on the outskirts of Bath. Wonderful stay in one of the cottages’ rooms in the mews. The hotel is a dream come true. Great location and definitely worth to have a walk around the property. We had a very nice afternoon tea. The staff is so helpful and extremely kind.

The staff were particularly friendly; the cooked breakfast, using local produce, a well prepared treat. Although very much a “pub with rooms” rather than a hotel, this was little hardship as the dining/bar area was a charming place to relax (serving Butcombe’s great range of ales) and was by no means noisy when it came to bed.

Lovely location with beautiful views over the Wiltshire fields. The hotel was quiet and relaxing with pretty gardens that you could walk around. The bedroom was large, comfortable double bed and the ensuite bathroom was nice and the shower was hot. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good although not much of a selection of fruit. The lounge area was comfortable and relaxing.

Lovely little studio apartment in a rural setting. Lots of thought had gone into the modern decor and the small kitchen was really helpful. Hosts was very friendly and accommodating. Great communication. Quiet and peaceful, nice local walks on the door step and easy drive into Bristol/Bath and Wiltshire. Enjoyed the TV, good shower, fold down table was a clever addition.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Salisbury. Our room was super spacious and really comfortable. We only met one person of the team during our stay, but he was so helpful and friendly. We experienced quite a journey getting there; delayed planes en flights. Once we arrived, we immediately felt at home. It’s became super clear that the hotel puts guest satisfaction above everything else. Thanks for a lovely stay!
