The Receptionist locked the shower room and after requested to open at 7:30, kept me waiting for another hour. He didn’t apologise he forgot to open it.

Maybe the way the room was structured. Too many beds crowded in a small place. But it was ok.

I like the facilities and the breakfast was included. They even gave me a pass for the transport. Really useful

Location is a big off from the city center/old town. Nearest bus stop is around 6 minutes (steep) walk away which sometimes becomes tough to cover with heavy luggage

A great overall experience. Rooms are spacious and beds are provided with power sockets and personal reading lights. Spacious storage lockers are also available inside the rooms. Reception staff is kind and helpful. A comfortable lounge is also available. My booking included a free breakfast and it was one of the most generous breakfasts available in any hostel with lots of stuff available as a buffet. A huge free storage lockers are also available for storing stuffing outside of checked in hours too (you need 2 CHF coin as a deposit in the locker system).

Room was toward busy street - would have preferred quieter settings, but there were people in the other ones already.

The bed and sheets were comfortable and the breakfast buffet had a lot of healthy choices! There's a lake - Rotsee - closeby, great for a morning walk!

- remote location - private lockers only working with a particular franc coin which we did not have (as it is actually quite rare to see a franc coin in Switzerland, we did not see it during our entire 10-days stay there) - a lot of people in the room - boys' and girls' dorm separated - outdated furnishings

No kitchen to cook your own food and have meals, or make tea or coffee and socialise. There was a coffee machine in the lobby area and coffee or tea was 3CHF, there was a microwave and a kettle to use but that's nothing like a fully equipped kitchen. The plug sockets above beds weren't working, fortunately there were more plugs near the doors.

Fast check-in, good breakfast in the canteen, working wifi, nice decor. Nice coffee with breakfast. Free transport to and from the hostel after check-in. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. Individual light and a little shelf with every bed. Shower and a toilet right outside the room, and there were more on the same floor and elsewhere. Nicely decorated lobby area, outside area with tables and chairs.

The location is quite far from the city centre however easy accessed by bus. The bathrooms and toilets are a bit older and should be renovated.

The breakfast was fine. I appreciate that the JH did not completely book, so it was quite a calm place.

The man in the kitchen was in a real bad mood. I went into the canteen and ate my own food there, and the man was giving attitude.

The girls at the front desk are super friendly and nice, place very clean, free breakfast provided

Rooms too small for 4 people, no fan or AC. No kitchen or cooking facility. Breakfast was ok...only cold food options. Number of bathrooms and showers were also less.

Luggage storage facility and free city pass since this is little away from centre.

well its a hostel so I'm not expecting a lot of, but I already was in way cheaper and way better hostels. - as mentioned earlier - price, when it's looked a little earlier i saw a hotels (also not fancy) for the similar price - no towels (I heard from the other guest that they are not giving, even for extra price) - lockers for coins (why not just for the key?)

- breakfast was surprisingly very good, nothing fancy, but as for first meal of the day, there was more then enough - stable Internet connection - location - professional person in reception - instructional how to get free WiFi in city and bus

The room is not quite comfortable and sometimes noisy. But I think is a good value for my money.

I like that the booking process is straight-forward and the staffs were very friendly. Its a lively environment, particularly for those travelling in groups.

Check-in time and location

Walking towards bus stop with the luggage was a bit difficult. I wish there could be a bus stop next to the hostel . The check in should be made a bit earlier. For example 2 pm

The hostel was not very close to the city center but it was not so difficult to commute with the buses. The hostel also provides the transportation pass for the zone 10.

The hostel was mostly clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and open to help. The breakfast was tasty.
