As others reported, there is a bit of road noise, but honestly it didn't really bother me at all (but I only stayed for 1 night). Perhaps could have done with more regular skimming of the pool to remove the floating debri/insects.

Service at reception and the bar/restaurant was great. The room was spacious and comfortable. The lock on the door wasn't working properly to begin with but after I reported it, it was fixed very quickly. Food in the restaurant was good quality. The included breakfast was good. The pool table was a nice addition. The swimming pool was nice (not too cold), but you do get a bit of debri off the sourrounding vegetation, but that is hard to keep on top off all the time. I Uber'd to here from San Jose downtown with no problem.

The pool closed at 6pm, and was full of kids for the last hour so we didn't get to use it. Adults travelling solo would appreciate a later dip when the kids are eating. :) Noisy road nearby, bring earplugs. No kettle in the room.

A good little place to stopover before a flight from San Jose. Nice leafy grounds (we saw an armadillo) and pretty old buildings. Comfortable room with a good bed and bedding. Nice hotel restaurant with friendly staff.

We booked this location for our last night in Costa Rica. As our flight back to Europe was leaving only in the evning of the next day, we appreciated the option to use the pool area until the afternoon.

Beautiful hotel very close to the airport. Pool and restaurant were both excellent, rooms basic but comfortable and clean. The grounds / gardens are large and well worth a wander around. Perfect place to stay before or after a long flight.

I absolutely love this property! It is not far from the airport, 20 minutes or so, but it feels like you are in the jungle! The grounds are lovely, full of tress, flowers, and wildlife. The beds, linens and pillows are superb. The rooms are immaculate. The Pandora restaurant on site is delicious, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The free breakfast is quite tasty as well, and I appreciate that they will pack a to go breakfast for early departures. It can be a tad pricey for the area, but the landscape and the beds make it worth every colón! This is my go to spot for arrivals and departures in the country, immediately immersed in nature and clinging to every moment of it before leaving.

We used this hotel on the nights we arrived and left Costa Rica. As we were going to the west (Cloud Forest and Pacific Coast) so it was on the right side of the airport for us. Just what we needed, decent clean rooms, very helpful staff, good food and at a fair price. They provided good advice around hire cars/ ubers etc so just what you need for a first time visitor

There is absolutely nothing negative I could say about this hotel.

This boutique hotel is a true hidden gem in San Jose! Nestled in lush jungle surroundings, it feels more like a secluded retreat than a city hotel, yet it's conveniently located just 15 minutes from SJO airport. It's the perfect spot for us to conclude a long trip to Costa Rica. Our room is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and features wonderfully effective AC and a delightful hot shower. Dining at the on-site restaurant was a highlight, with some of the best food we've tasted in Costa Rica. All staff is incredibly kind and attentive, enhancing our stay with their unique touch. This place is simply unique — a must-experience to truly appreciate its charm!

We went down to breakfast just after 7 but our food didn’t arrive until nearly 8 - which would have been a problem had we been rushing off. The hotel ordered us a taxi to the airport and one of the seat belts didn’t work.

The rooms were lovely and spacious, very hot shower in the bathroom. The pool and onsite trails were a great bonus, and we appreciated the ease of having a restaurant onsite.

I would have liked for rooms to have had a TV.

We had a beautiful 2 bedroom villa. The pool was nice to enjoy and breakfast was delicious. Happy Hour special at 6pm, my Pura Vida drink was the best!
