Cozy atmosphere, great breakfast with good variety. Hotel was within a good walking distance of the old town in Meersburg. Helpful attentive staff.

Too expensive for the type of hotel, far away fron the centre, they want cash payment: dont like it!!! Why not credit cards?? And the double room is too small for the price!!! Also the breakfast could be better: they have a very standard continental breakfast…

Your balcony area is kind of shared and the neighbors didn't turn off their patio lights at night. so it was annoying because I needed my window curtains open to get air as it was a very hot day, but then the light shines in. We booked last minute, and no massage was available at any time. I mainly booked this place for the convenience of a massage during our stopover from a long drive... better check with them first for availabilities.

Breakfast could be more versatile, but all the basics were present. Card payments not accepted, that is very unusual for such top-notch hotel.

maybe the music entering… made me feel like I’m at a spa. I didn’t really mind it but it just wasn’t my taste.

had a really nice view and the walk into town was nice. there was a little view point not far from the property witch was also a nice touch.

In all fairness, the hotel staff and reservation forms guests at every turn that CASH is needed to settle the charges, but in this day and age, this is an inconvenient requirement.

Location was perfect, and the views of the vineyards, lake and town from the room were spectacular! Room was well appointed, and super clean. Breakfast was very good in both the quantity and quality of the offerings. Loved the availability to purchase wine/beer onsite. Would have loved to enjoy the spa, but we didn't have time on this visit. Meersburg is a lovely and charming town. "Adults Only" and no large tour buses arriving daily were very much appreciated features.

Not a big deal or not even a problem but the ambient music and the sound of the water flowing in the garden turned to be annoying after a while. It was relaxing at the beginning but then it just started to affect my sleep.

I would suggest having ONE portable iron available on request for guests. No facial tissues in the bathroom.

One feels totally welcome into this boutique like Hotel, it is charming and is very nicely decorated. Breakfast area was very nice with a good selection of foods, buffet style. One can order eggs cooked to order should you wish. The service was excellent and the cafe machiattos were hot and delicious. The view from our room was nice, overlooking the town and lake, we had a small balcony. Nice touch having the robes & slippers in the cupboard. We used them when we went to take a jacuzzi. We enjoyed the gardens and being able to sit in the chairs to smoke a cigar.

Very nice value. Only problem was the lift/elevator was broke. But for me it was ok, because I stayed in the first floor. But the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and the facilities were ok. Good value.

Our room smelled like cigarettes when we first opened the door…red flag. Turns out that If you are near a room with smokers, the smoke comes into your room with the windows or doors open. DISGUSTING

The hotel was extremely accommodating when we complained about the smokers next door. They change our room immediately, seemingly aware of the smoking problem. The breakfast room was stunning and worthy of a Michelin star restaurant.

I was confused when booking the Piccolo room. I actually didn't realize what I'd booked as the description was "Studio with Garden View-This charming room is located in the annex. Please note that children under the age of 16 cannot be accommodated in this room.". I had no idea it was completely separate and frankly I feel the price was too high for the space--but as I said, that was my fault and I could've chosen elsewhere. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again, although now I will be more aware of what I am booking.

The hotel is beautiful and the location above the town was perfect for us with beautiful views over the lake. The breakfast was very good and we loved sitting on the balcony to eat it. The hotel maintained all the covid requirements without making it feel stiff. We happened to book the Piccolo "bungelow" (more to follow), which was spacious and comfortable and very private.

Honestly for that price, I would have expected much much more. The rooms were quite small, the bathroom especially and a bit "basic" (e.g. shower in the bathtub, no curtains, so the floor gets wed when showering). We were there on our honeymoon, which they knew and I specifically ask for some romantic decoration, which they refused to do, because apparently it was too short notice... But I think, putting some complimentary sparkling wine wouldn't have been too much of an effort. Furthermore they automatically assigned us to a garage place without mentioning that this will be 14€ per night. And the biggest surprise of all, everything (even the 300€ room price per night) can ONLY be paid in CASH. For that amount of money, this is absolutely outdated! Even though we had a nice stay and the end we felt a bit ripped off.

The view was amazing, the breakfast was great. It was very quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and we loved the hot tub, that was available 24h.
