We asked when we got there what time breakfast was, and were told the times - didn’t realise it wasn’t included in the room though so that was an unwelcome surprise at checkout. Would’ve been helpful if someone had mentioned it. There was no information leaflet in the room like some hotels have that would’ve clued us in about the extra charge.

Nice hotel, chose it because it’s close to the RER line from the airport and also close to metro lines for places we wanted to visit. The staff were lovely, the room was a pretty standard hotel room, though would’ve been nice if the plugs were next to the bed.

The walls were very thin so it was very noisy. As soon as people got up for breakfast it was impossible to sleep.

I expected the room to be small, it’s downtown Paris. It could be a lot more efficient. Absolutely no drawers. There was a hanging closet with 6 hangers. Pedestal sink in the bathroom so nowhere to put anything! They say they speak English well, but that’s debatable. I think we communicated enough but I wish I could have asked more questions. They offered an airport taxi. €70, “luggage and everything! Trust me, he is a friend.” We asked if they take cards and they said “sure, cards, cash, anything!” Well, it was €72 and he asked for cash. He took a card since that’s what we had. He was smoking a cigarette as we carried our own luggage to the street corner where he had to park. Also the elevator to our floor was broken the day we left.

The location is very good. Close to St Germaine a busy road with metro stops. Also close to Notre Dame and the river. Lots of eating places within walking distance. There is a grocery store two blocks away. The people at the desk are very friendly. They straightened the room daily.

Location, location, location - max 30 minutes walking distance to, the Louvre, Pantheon and Catecombs; 5 minutes to Notre Dame and Seine. Direct metro line to Eiffel Tower and Marmatre.

Room typical small size for Paris however a bit tight for two suitcases.

Good breakfast with lots of variety and friendly staff. Best thing about this hotel was the location. Very close to Luxembourg gardens and Ile de la Cité. Very walkable area with lots of choice for restaurants.

Literal conversations with staff: "Is there a clothing iron we can use?" "Yes but I don't know where it is." "Can you have it sent up to our room?" "No, come back later." "Can we get a couple extra towels? Our room was never serviced today." "Well we are very busy." Also witnessed a very tense exchange with front desk and a family. Customer service overall seems to hold this place back. Other than that the washroom space is very tight and the walls are super thin.

Fantastic location. Walking distance to major sites, good restaurants, and multiple subway lines. Nice looking room. Beautiful window.

The bed in one of our booked rooms was sinking in the middle and hard. The pillows were hard as well, but that could be a preference thing. The building is old, so you can hear people in the rooms next door and water flowing from the flushing from the room upstairs. It didn't bother us because we were mostly out and about, and it didn't happen often.

Traditional hotel that has charater and charm. location is great, close to a bus stop and metro. Walking distance to the Notre Dame and other attractions. Lots of cafes and restaurants around the hotel. It had tea making facilities in the room, which is becoming rare in the hotel industry. It's not luxury but an overall clean hotel and would recommend it.

We had to request toilet paper and it didn’t arrive so had to go and get it from the public bathroom downstairs. Towels were not replaced until we requested - after 2 days. Only 1 staff member working in the kitchen and she was completely overworked.

The desk staff were often busy with paperwork to respond to my questions. Also the shower floor in room 15 was dangerously slippery and I almost fell a couple of times.

Great location centrally in Latin quarter and on the bus line for major Paris attractions! Continental breakfast was good variety and a welcome feature.

The breakfast was very basic and not worth €10 pp, and city tax had tripled when we arrived.

The beds were nice and comfortable, the room was very clean and the location was excellent.
