Slight echo in the room. The sounds from other guest rooms were easily heard through the vents in the bathroom. My check-in was 30 mins later than the expected 3pm check in. They will hold your luggage before/after check out but it was not put in a separate, locked room. It was sitting off to the side where other guests could access it.

Lobby and roof are very nice. The room was clean and large. An employee helped me carry my bags down three flights of stairs when the elevator was out of order. Hotel is located in a nice location. Easy to walk everywhere.

Our stay was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very nice, clean, and neat. The rooms were a good size for European sized hotel rooms (smaller compared to American rooms as expected but perfectly functional!). There was lots of open storage space cubbies near the door to our room which was great to access and keep track of all of our items during our stay. The views of the city from our room were gorgeous, as were the views from the rooftop area. We stayed in mid-April, so it was a bit chilly at night. I can imagine when the weather is warmer it would be a great place to sit and have a drink in the evening. The area is safe and provides easy access to the main areas of Aix. We traveled on foot our whole stay and never felt too far away to get back to the hotel. We also came and went late in the evening and always felt safe. Very excellent stay! Would definitely recommend!

Everything perfect

The Escaletto Hotel is very well situated and the structure is brand new and very comfortable. Unfortunately the day we stayed in the hotel was raining, so we couldn't enjoy the terrace and the happy hour , but we will do next time. Breakfast is very good and international!

The bathroom had no towel racks, the shower floor was extremely slippery to the point of being dangerous, no shelf in the shower to set your own shampoo, body wash, etc.

The staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable.

Room and toilet were awkwardly designed. Due to strange doors they were difficult to get in and out of. Toilet was in dedicated area that did not have a sink for handwashing. Coffee was not good; cappuccino tasted like it was made with powdered milk.

The only improvement would possibly be some shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

What a great property. Easy walking distance to the Rotunde, Shops, Museums, and Restaurants. Very friendly staff. Especially Theo!! Even though I checked out in the morning the property let me store my bags all day and hang out in the lobby so that I could do a few hours of work. Rooms were very clean! Nice Happy Hour and Roof Top Bar.

Location close to quaint restaurants, tourist office, farmers markets. Great staff friendly, kind, approachable, spoke English well. Very clean room. Daily breakfasts also great fresh, included everything we like. Thank you to all the staff.

Hotel room is quite small but very nicely appointed. It feels new and the decor is very well done.

Staff, staff, staff. Sasha and Mark were excellent "hosts". We had trouble with our rental car and they were very helpful in connecting us with resources to resolve the problem. They were busy but took their time to help us and we were very grateful.

The air conditioning wasn't working and it was very hot in the bedroom. Upon arrival, they offered us drinks and they made us pay for them during check-out. The bathroom was very small.

It was a bit noisy during the night outside the hotel. We needed the air con and it is only working during high season.

We enjoyed a short stay at Hotel Escaletto. It is very well located and our room was clean and comfortable. The superior room at the front with a balcony was lovely. Breakfast was very good and offered a wide variety of hot and cold food. The roof top area was lovely too. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.
