There was only one room left when we booked which was a little bit small for our 6 day stay especially as we couldn’t be outdoors.

The room was comfortable and Julie was a wonderful hostess. She provided a delicious continental breakfast and a welcome supper on our arrival. The weather was cold and wet so we weren’t able to experience the outdoors which was a shame as I’m sure it would be glorious in the summer.

Nothing. Pity Julie no longer offers a table d'hôte - understandable with all she does without help.

Julie is a charming host and the stay was delightful. The pool was welcome after a hot drive. We wandered around the park and wondered how Julie manages to keep up the house and grounds. The deco in our room and the common areas is superb. Very good breakfast especially the home made jams. Well done - we'll be back.

Beautiful old style French country home tastefully renovated. Julie the host was welcoming and attentive. Amazing breakfast and you also won’t be disappointed with the home cooking if you also have dinner there

I don’t know where to start as there are so many positive things to say: a very warm welcome from Julie, our hostess. The great atmosphere of this little « castle » surrounded by Roses, immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms, the quietness of this place, an excellent breakfast with a little touch: a personalised note from Julie explaining where everything was, the vegetable garden, the heated swimming pool (just a shame we didn’t have time for it), games for the kids (football, basketball, table tennis), etc.

The friendly hostess was the best ever. We had a great evening, a very comfortable room and a lovely breakfast. A wonderful experience. And with the right advise of the hostess we enjoyed a great evening in the village with the local talent, and boy what talent.

Julie, the owner, gave us a very warm welcome and told us about the history of the beautiful chateau. We had pre-booked an evening meal which Julie prepared herself. Fantastic curry with lots of extras like the Isle De Rey new potatoes! She looked after us like one of the family but also gave us our own space.The grounds were amazing and the pool looked great. Breakfast was very good and Julie was on hand to wish us bon voyage!

La Roseraie is a lovely little place, and it was so good it even exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the gold room, which was absolutely wonderful. The breakfast was also really awesome.

Bed was a little soft for us. Village location is rather off the beaten track, with very limited choice of restaurants, although Poitiers is less than 30 mins away by car.

Very nice breakfast with good selection. Quiet location with good ambiance. Excellent beer available! Host very welcoming and with good English (much better than my French!). Interesting evening meal.
