How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

From what we experienced during our stay we could see that your bar -restaurant was under staffed, the two waiters were running from the bar to the dining room, to the kitchen and back not really knowing what they were doing. The menu was poor and the food was not great, very disappointing. Despite the chaos, your staff was polite and did their best in the circumstances, they need training and support. The room was small, only one bedside table, very odd!!!
Nice complex and surrounding.

Good location, and a cozy hotel with a swimming pool. Nice feeling in the nature out of city hotels. Provide free parking.

Couldn’t check in till five as room wasn’t ready . Staff were constantly outside smoking and having a break . Seemed like the kids were in charge while mum and dad were away. They took their time to get organised. Went down for a pre dinner drink and they were just cleaning up bar from lunch. Everything got done but they were in no hurry.
Food was lovely and room is small but very clean

Bedrooms are grand for short stay but not for longer stay as bit small and outside space is not very private.
Restaurant was very good as was breakfast and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a stopover for us on way to Italy just ten minutes or so off main road so worked well.

The air condition in front of the room was pretty loud, the room was really small.
Nice hotel, very friendly stuff esp. in restaurant. We could take our dog into the restaurant. Good food.

Rooms a bit small, the towels worn out. Breakfast was somehow short - you have to get up early to get proper variety. Otherwise breakfast is decent.
The location is perfect for exploration of Chambord, Chiverny calstles. Nice restaurant, large parking lot, but the territory is cosy, well maintained.

The rooms are very small and there are a few amenities around the property if you do not drive into Blois.
Lovely location about 30 min from the historic town of Blois. Delicious breakfast and heated pool.

Room a little small for our visit with 2 large dogs, but just about enough floor room.
Location excellent for visit to Chateau at Chambord, and our trip north to Coquelles. Doors to outside from ground floor room useful for dogs. Meal at restaurant delicious.

Beds very narrow/ small for adults. Doors very heavy and a lot of slamming of them in corridor’s very early in morning. Staff could do well to request guests to be mindful of this as not to disturb others. Could hear them from 6 am literally made you jump In bed. Dogs allowed and one in room next to me was yapping all afternoon ( left in hotel room) and obviously first thing from 6am. Owners then slamming doors … not strictly hotels fault but spoilt our rest and felt sorry for dog. Did mention to receptionist who was very lovely but did not speak to the people in said room. Restaurant lovely and good food however pricy would be good to have some more affordable choices or greater choice. Overall we had a lovely stay and staff friendly and kind.
Fabulous location moments from the magnificent Chateaux Chambord! Lovely pool and plentiful sunbeds. Fantastic bar staff and choice of drinks and fresh cold water available on tap! Clean rooms modern and comfortable. Good for families and relaxing !

Breakfast was a little stressful. The scrambled eggs had run out both mornings and long waits to get a coffee.
Modern and well-equipped. Friendly helpful staff. Nice menu and good food. Clean, heated swimming pool.

Service could be better. People were nice but need to be more concerned about guest. We had a drink on the terrace and sat on wooden chair / bench but discover the pillow were available inside. No one bring them or told us. Same for restaurant, drinks and bread came after the meal was already served … need few adjustments

The cost was 3x what I spent every other night (with no improvements beyond AC). If you need to do any work be warned their internet is very slow.
The bed was comfy, and the AC worked. I didn't use the pool since it was raining, but it looked very nice. The staff was friendly and did a great job. I had a 3-course lunch that was delicious (I highly recommend the restaurant). Breakfast was g,reat and had everything you could ever want.

Restaurant food was very average and very overpriced. Breakfast set up was clumsy with people queueing to get food/coffee.
Swimming pool and location to Chambord excellent. Staff very friendly - especially bar staff.

Restaurant was very disappointing - overpriced for a very average meal. Room was quite small with a very small toilet! TV was fixed to the wall so HDMI port was not accessible.
Location was perfect for visiting Chateau Chambord. Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly. Restaurant was in a beautiful building.
