The shower could have been cleaner, the shower soap dispenser was very dirty

Having to ask 3 times for bedding for the sofa bed as it kept not materialising, even though they knew the room was booked for 2 adults and 2 children, waiting over an hour for more towels as we weren't given enough for 4 people, booking and paying for half board and then the restaurant and the reception desk attempting to charge us again for our evening meal

I’ve only given 9 out of 10 because the property is looking a bit tired - the shower in our bathroom had a small leak, the bottom of the bathroom door was split, the paint peeling, and was grubby above and below the handle.

Convenient location, great food, great staff who made you feel welcome and at home, comfortable bed and super rainfall shower.

One waiter was arranging the pastries, at breakfast, with his bare hands and the cleaning staff left the clean sheets/towels on the floor when making up the rooms.

We stayed in September on a half board basis. The food was generally good as were the restaurant staff. Breakfast had adequate choice, with gluten free options - though the sausages were a bit hit and miss! Hotel was clean and well maintained.

The non -gluten free stuff should have been more obvious. Perhaps the person who ticks you off on the folder should show you each bit rather than expecting you to just find what you needed.

Check in was very easy. The room was clean and the 3rd bed was set up. The breakfast was nice with plenty of choice of fruit juices. The evening meal was good. Nice and hot and served beautifully. I especially enjoyed the banana pizza which we shared between 3 of us.

No mention when booking of £50 charge in case of "damage" caused by dog??? This should be mentioned when booking and be acted upon by reception showing you the toom and taking photos and then again on booking out again with photos by reception.If not it isnt fair that someone checks the room after you have left and msaybe finds something that may have already been there and costs guests £50.REALLY DID NOT LIKE THAT SO WE TOOK OUR OWN PHOTOS ON ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE WHICH WE TOLD RECEPTION ABOUT. Only thing that spoiled the trip.

Great, close to exits and reception for disabled people, huge free carpark, a few stains and marks on floor\carpets, toilet a bit low, but breakfast despite having to go all round the room to get bits, coffee area ,toast are, cereals are,juice area and fried breahfast area the breakfast was filling and scrambled egg was brill.

I had an issue with the aircon, I thought it was programmed and temperature set but I had to do it manually, it was too cold at night and I had to switch it off.

We enjoyed having dinner at Bella Italia. Easy to have a restaurant inside the hotel. Breakfast, very good!

Stains on carpet and sofa. Didn't feel like sheets were really clean.

Updated bathroom with nice shower fittings. Room was quiet. Bed was comfy. Good access to different light settings. Had everything I need to do work and rest.

The price can change from acceptable to very high.

Accommodation was comfortable, rooms were clean. I liked everything. Breakfasts are varied and lots of everything. Hotels have free parking. The place is calm, there is a park nearby.

Noisy from early in the morning as ground floor room 104 by the car park. Checking out staff not very helpful. She didn’t even ask if we’d enjoyed our stay. I had to ask if there was any way to give feedback.

Handy for our purpose after a visit to Leicester races. Liked the Bella Italian restaurant and the quality of the breakfast. Evening staff on booking in very attentive. Restaurant staff very good.
