Kind owner , clean , and quiet place

The only thing we found less comfortable was the glass door to the bathroom, and we couldn't figure out the bathtub without instructions. The bathtub isn't a problem if you're smarter than us, and the glass door isn't for the shy.

Super comfy and a cute apartment. We really liked the location, a short walk outside the city. The breakfast was huge and always on time, we liked the home cooked eggs (still warm) a bit extra.

Pre payment details could have been sent earlier to allow for international transfer. Also the shower is a bit complicated and instructions would be helpful.

The appartment needs a good paint job, because there are many marks on the wall. It was a shame because even though the house was clean the walls made it feel weird/dirty.

It is quite big and has everything you need for a weekly stay. Kitchen is well equipped, bathroom is clean. The breakfast was very impressive and quite big and included a lot of different things.

The jacuzzi which was the main “sell point” to us doesn’t work properly.

AVOID THIS PROPERTY AT ALL COST! This was the worst host I have ever encountered in my life! The check for this booking was from 16 to 21 but the host told me she will be there only until 17h and no one will be there after 17h?! Instead of charging the card, she only offered me options to pay in cash or by IBAN. When we arrived to Tilburg, she told me that the room isn’t ready before 16h but she won’t be there after 16h (instead of 17h). So we could only be there at 16h and not a minute before or after ??? We had to take a taxi from the train station in order to be there on time but when we arrived at the building, she wouldn’t open up the door or answer the phone for 15 minutes while we were outside wet in the storm! She didn’t want to give us the building code to enter before we pay the room in cash on arrival! Then she gave us the wrong building code so we were outside of the building later at night trying to open up the door and she didn’t answer the phone again and later told us that she mistakenly gave us the wrong code. The apartment had heating which couldn’t be turned off so it was 29.5 degrees Celsius in the middle of the night! Terrible experience, don’t make a mistake and book with this terrible host!

Everything is good!

The place is perfect, the host is very friendly, the breakfast is really surprisingly good, on time. The room has all amenities, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is equipped, the bathroom and toilet are clean and there is everything you need. There is a terrace. There is a seating area with armchairs and a fireplace for atmosphere. Full and accurate instructions from the host. The place is 20 min walk from the center. There are nearby convenient shops, bus stop right outside the door.

This guy messages nothing about how to get into the apartment, just that I have to pay cash. I asked to pay with card and checked my phone an hour and half later. There he said he will rent it to someone else if I can't pay and that since I am not answering it is already canceled. I told him it is still active on Booking and he starts talking about bank transfer. We get to the place and there is no sign or instructions for how to get in and no one answers the door when knocking. I call the number on the Booking app and a friendly woman tells me someone will let me in. Soon a less friendly woman comes and ask for the cash, I asked if it's not better to do the transaction in the apartment, but this was not an option. Then she tells us someone will email the next code. We are now standing in a steep hall just waiting for a code feeling like we are buying drugs, not checking into an apartment. We go to the car again to get our luggage and the woman comes back with the second code. The apartment feels big for the price and good for a couple with a dog. The living room, bedroom and bathroom looks like little to non renovation since the 80s. Kitchen is modern, but very cheaply made and without hot plates to make food. The terrace is more like a roof with a door, and would not be safe for a child to play. Tip to owner, charge guests through Booking and just send the code to the door before checkin. This way you also don't have to speak with guests.

The reason for the high score was the wife was helpful, she kept the place clean and made a nice breakfast.

it requires maintenance - water stains on the sealing, dirty walls, that all adds to the experience. It was clean but it did not feel clean because of how walls, sealing and some devices (eg dishwasher) look like. It is max one day of work to repaint. It would also be nice to receive arrival information with the code to follow. Now, the information is only available on 4pm on the day or arrival.

The property is well located, breakfast is really good, overall okeyish stay.

No covers for the Bathroom containing the bathtub

It would be great to have some sort of covering on the bathroom door and the door to the kitchen. Both are glass, and the kitchen one lets in a lot of morning light. Stairs to the apartment are very narrow and are difficult to get up carrying luggage.

The apartment was spacious and sunny, it had everything you could need during a stay. The owner was really nice and helpful, and the breakfast was huge! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it

The smell in the bathroom is awful! You can't sit in the kitchen without being bothered by flying flies! From the moment I paid, the owner bothered me with messages until 1:30! the bed for the 3rd person I had to climb on my own on the stairs and at the same time make it safe!

I was not sure how to close the door of the appartment. The host gave instructions but that did not work.

It was not a prompt communication. It looks like the person is really busy running other side endeavors, so you have to stick to the B&B hours, trust and don’t panic.
