Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Saudi ArabiaThe entertainment system needs improvement. The TV has very limited channels in English and Arabic languages. Also, a smart TV would be a better fit for a 5 star hotel. In addition, the bathroom needs a better draining design. Currently, water spills accumulate in the floor.
I booked a deluxe room and wanted an upgrade to the luxury deluxe room. I could not do it through Booking.com but the receptionist Ilyas was very cooperative and offered a free upgrade. The most thing I liked is the location of this hotel, it is literally a minute walk to the metro station which was very convenient. In terms of the room, the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Breakfast is also great.

QatarThe rooms need to be more insulated from inside hotel noise. I can hear people speaking on the corridors. The gym needs improvement. Gym timing is from 7:00 am but the attendant comes at around 8:00 am. This is not convenient for me.
Location is excellent. Staff are very friendly. Room is very nice. Bathroom is excellent specially the shower. Breakfast is great. I really have no complains.
