We couldnt eat at the restuarant the night of our stay as there was a function. We went to the nearby Cattle Baron which did not disappoint.

Although security is very important, the check-point at the entrance to the estate is a little annoying each time you come and go. We booked a standard room so can't complain about the small size, it just felt a little underwhelming in such a spacious and picturesque environment. Although the rooms are not that on top of each other, noise from other guests coming and going really does seem to be amplified. We're fairly sensitive to synthetic room sprays etc and they are fairly heavy-handed with the use of these - perhaps they were trying to mask the smell of cigarette smoke from the inconsiderate guests before us but I would definetly suggest being less generous on that front and perhaps providing a room spray that guests dispense themselves if they so wish.

Staff were always available and freindly. The location is very nice - close enough to enjoy all Stellenbosch has to offer without feeling overwhelmed by crowds all the time. I would say that a hire car is essential. A really excellent breakfast and very good coffee. Lovely pool area.

There was another large group staying over at the same time, who were a bit noisy late into the night.

Wonderful little in a cottage with about 2 or 3 other units. Small but perfect for a one night stay. Modern, clean and comfortable. Exceptional breakfast in the most beautiful setting, included.

Room furnishings are basic and fair. Can maybe look at better overall interior for the price and location. Stayed in a single unit which is right next to the one or two bedroom units. The layout is a bit strange since I could look directly into their lounges and entrances from my small courtyard. Not much privacy for them in that regard.

The location is picture perfect. A 10/10 location. Room is fairly furnished and adequate for what one needs. Close to town, within driving distance. Great location on a golf estate.

It’s very much a golfers place. The only Kleine Zalze restaurant does not open for dinner so only eating option on site is the golf club - great food but quite functional

Our room didn't have a view as the best ones do. It wasn't very private as it was the first room and other guests were often passing. I was under the impression that all rooms were the same standard and price. At reception, I was told that we were in the unit called Pinotage. When we got there we found that Pinotage consisted of a few rooms. We found Pinotage 4 open and went in. It was spacious with a balcony and grea tviews. My girlfriend was super impressed with her Valentines surprise. As my girlfriend and I lay on the bed cuddling, some guests walked in. How embarrassing. I suggested that reception tells guests clearly that there are a few rooms and that the number is on the back of the key. I know that I should've contacted reception to make sure

Nothing much, I just missed a hairdryer in the room. Is available at the reception though.

Spacious clean and modern rooms with a good shower. The views, breakfast and staff were all wonderful. And I felt safe on the resort due to good security.
