My husband and I were traveling with two toddlers and an infant and Jyoseikan is VERY family friendly. They even have a toddler play area in the lobby. The staff at Jyoseikan were accommodating, professional, and enthusiastic. I was especially impressed by the way that all of the staff spoke to and treated our toddlers - as if they were guests just as valued as the adult guests! We did the dinner service, and it was AMAZING. We were also traveling with two additional adult guests who did not care for Japanese cuisine, and the staff went out of their way to prepare western style meals for them. Everything was impeccably clean and efficient. We will absolutely return next time we are in Kochi.

Breakfast and dinner was superb with excellent service. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our every need. The rooms were spacious and the view amazing. This is truly a dream come true kind of hotel.

The nearest airport is Kochi Ryoma Airport, 13 km from the ryokan. I absolutely loved staying here. It was so quaint and peaceful with the best view. It was in a great location with lots of sights nearby. Would definitely stay here again

All rooms in the ryokan are equipped with a kettle. At Tennenonsen Harunonoyu the rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Got the in-room rotenburo option and it was just what we were looking for - temperature is suitable for smaller children, and they could play with the water inlet flow without disturbing other guests in the public bath.. Faciities as expecte and functional.

Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Pleasant stay, very clean and organised. Nice traditional breakfast and the hotel has a souvenir shop inside. Nice and clean bath. The room was very big for 1 person and very comfortable with individual bath included.

This was a true, bonafide, traditional Japanese ryokan experience! There is so much history that it justifies the facilities being older. The whole experience was wonderful, especially the kind and excellent staff.
