The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing, especially Mr Sujith, Mr Arijit and the GM of the resort himself. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The accommodation features a business centre, a concierge service and luggage storage for guests. We've stayed in Rockholm for 2 weeks and really enjoyed it The restaurant is so good that we didn't bother to go and eat somewhere else most of the time when we were at the hotel. Besides the regular menu they can also do something on request and all of that is very reasonably priced (compared to most of the European prices for the same quality and service). The breakfast is mainly vegetarian but variety is wide enough and some options are changed every day, we tried something new in different combinations every day. Non-veg breakfast options are always present but limited and some of the breakfast dishes could be spicy The receptionists are very helpful and helped us with the currency exchange, helped to book a scooter (since it was a low season it was hard to find anything working), arranged a reliable transfer to the airport at a good price (compared to an external transfer booking services), they can also help with everything related to tours and other activities We've really enjoyed the pool, even though it's not so big and rather shallow it appeared to be good enough for us. The water, pool itself and surrounding area were very clean. We didn't go to the beach but during the daytime it could be really considered as a private beach as there's always nobody even though the beach itself looks pleasant and clean, at the evening there will be cloud of locals watching the sunset and local kids playing football The room itself was clean, cozy and with enough lighting options. WiFi has proven to be stable and rather fast. And of course the view from the balcony is breathtaking and it's main feature of the hotel for sure The location is also nice, in a very quiet and somewhat secluded area but in just 5 minutes walk to the main beach with all other hotels and restaurants All the staff is very helpful and sincerely friendly

The homestay boasts a variety of wellness options, including a fitness room, a public bath and yoga classes. For guests with children, Noel's beach homestay offers a baby safety gate. If you would like to discover the area, cycling and fishing are possible in the surroundings and the accommodation can arrange a car rental service. While I did not get to stay here as it was accidentally overbooked, Noel went above and beyond to find a room a couple of doors down the road, equally as convenient and spectacularly backing onto the private beach. Noel kept in touch for the 2 days prior to our arrival to ensure our travels were safe and kept asking if we needed help with anything. His enthusiasm for helping was incredibly helpful and reassuring. We ended up catching a taxi (a supposed 3 hour drive turned 51/2 hour drive) and Noel even met us at his beach house to escort us to the one he booked for us. He took care of all our tuk tuk needs, timing for transport and advice for our next leg. As two females travelling with little experience on our own in India, he was a lifeline with great communication skills. Be prepared that there are no tuk tuks driving past - it is a little bit out of the way so a tuk tuk needed to be called/booked. It only took 5-10 mins to get into the heart of town (anywhere from 100 to 200 rupee) and the houseboat dock so it wasn't a problem at all but certainly a nice quiet escape from the prior experiences of unlimited tuk tuk offers that we assumed would still be there.

The rooms offer spectacular views of lake, garden, city or pool. Impressive hotel with lots of things to do. The pool was amazing. Our toddler had a lot of fun at the playgrounds (indoor and outdoor). The room is modern, clean and comfortable. Good restaurants as well. Friendly staff. wholeheartedly recommend!

The owners were really lovely and accommodating. I felt like I was at home and I felt really looked after. The view from my balcony was beautiful and the place was so peaceful surrounded by nature. The home cooked food was really tasty. The owner also has a tuk tuk, which made life much easier. I went out all day sight seeing in the tuk tuk, which was brilliant.

Guests can also relax in the shared lounge area. We are so happy that we have found this Homestay. The rooms(especially the two in front) with the view are great. Everything was spotless clean. But the special thing was this nice family, thank you Lisa, Thomas and family! Twice they cooked for us an incredible meal with so many different curries and they helped us with anything we needed. It's a 30 min drive to munnar, but munnar town itself is not that beautiful, would prefer again to stay here. Location has some restaurants in walking distance and from up the road in Anachal you have everything also busses.
