We were delighted with everything - the fact you can park at the door of the room, the way the rooms open out to the back and the lake, the marvelous whirlpool and sauna, the helpful staff, the good coffee in the room, the microwave and fridge in the room, the tv that worked (and was easy to use), the choice of things for breakfast.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, and staff seemed very concerned that we'd be angry - the place is relatively new and there were a couple of other guests who were engaged in quite aggressive conversations with other staff at the time. Seems like there are some issues that need ironing out. However I have no complaints, we were given a beer each, went to park the car across the street, and by the time I returned the room was ready. Room was perfect, bed was huge, swimming pool was a welcome addition. It was only a layover but would have happily spent another night. I think the staff member who helped us might have been called Vern or something similar. He was a really nice guy.
