A superb B&B. The front room lacked for nothing and the in-room continental breakfast was marvellous. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful and if we need accommodation near Bath again, we will return here.

what a great location. we walked about 8 minutes from the train station and walked everywhere we needed to go during our visit. we were amazed to be absolutely in the heart of town. being able to do laundry and prepare food from the grocery store was a real bonus. the kitchen was fully equipped and there were great instruction manuals for all of the appliances. Helen was extremely responsive to my emails and was very helpful.

The location is very convenient. 12 mins walk to train station. A big supermarket just around the corner. And the fact that it is ground floor is so good. No carrying suitcases. The living room is big. Appliances works. Night time is very quiet. The host is amazing. Thanks for the complimentary wine.

The Gainsborough Bath Spa - Small Luxury Hotels of the World features a fitness centre, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Bath.

We were a family of 5. Booked 3 rooms. 2 Rooms for 2 nights and 1 room for 1 night. The Roman Bath was outstanding experience. I would stay here again just for this. Convenient and clean. Rooms were of high quality and standard. Only one small issue with a dirty coffee cup left at the coffee making area (perhaps customer service recovery could have been initiated). Everything else was wonderful, friendly staff. good local knowledge, good advice.
