The Tamara Coorg is a 5-star property about 8 km from Nalkanad Palace and Thadiandamol. I have had the pleasure to stay in this facility for 3 days. I booked it because it was close to my place of interest, because it had good reviews and because the pictures looked pretty. Little did I know how much I underestimated this resort! The combination of tranquility, breathtaking views from your "room", the omnipresent luxury, selection of superb activities, the cuisine, the actual living forest all around you and overall hospitality and service simply cannot be described by words. One must experience it first-hand to fully appreciate this gem of a property. This property is situated literally inside a functioning coffee plantation, where you can explore the coffee making process from blossom to brewing (and roast / grind coffee beans yourself!). That is only one of the few exceptional activities offered, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The plantation is huge, and so is the resort itself. So of course they drive you with a buggy, whenever you are not in a mood for a little walk. Your "room" is actually a cottage, suspended above tree foliage, with a sense of complete privacy, even though a next cottage is nearby. The view has depth which can only be experienced by the seashore, or at high altitude. The connection to nature is taken very seriously here, and can also be felt intensely everywhere - whether you are relaxing on the terrace of your cottage, or walking to the pool and spa, or just having dinner. Talking about dining. The selection and variety of meals is astonishing, and so is the flavor. The whole dining experience is wonderful - the taste, the drinks & cocktails, the fact that you are actually dining above the waterfall, prompt and kind service offered by every staff member (waiters and managers alike). I would especially like to spotlight Mr.Bishu, who was serving us for the duration of our stay. He was always professional, very kind, attentive to all our needs, and so polite. Offering a garden and mountain view, Darshan Arrive & Revive Homestay. Is located in Kushālnagar, 27 km from Madikeri Fort and 28 km from Raja Seat. The best stay we ever had, the couple(owners) were so friendly that we never hesitated to ask them for extra comfort, we felt that we were not into any stay, they made it home for us. On the last day of our trip I got fever due to the cold weather, Uncle and Aunty took very much care they just treated me like their own son, The place is very convenient to visit all the tourist spots, and there is no such thing as time limits to enter. They will provide you the camp fire when requested, i recommend people to visit it once if you're at Coorg.

Offering garden views, Homestay In Coorg Doddakallu Betta in Somvārpet offers accommodation, a restaurant, a shared lounge and a garden. It was an absolute delight. Host was extremely polite, humble, very friendly and ready to fullfill any ask/request. Food was amazing, authentic home made food and satisfying. Out on the porch bon fire, music and clear sky, momorable ! Treck in the woods of the privately owned estate of our host, kids enjoyed to the core, canals, ponds and all kinds of trees, fruits, loved it.

Coorg Wilderness Resort & Spa in Madikeri has 5-star accommodation with a fitness centre and a bar. OMG!!! This is the best resort I have stayed at until biw. so peaceful and you can hear birds all the time. The room was absolutely stunning, clean, bright and airy, and the balcony made my day. The food is of good quality and the staff is fantastic. Their onsite Spa is also really good but the rates at the spa are a bit much in my opinion. One must try their chickoo coffee it is delish ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Located 21 Km at the foothills of Madikeri, Kushalnagar. Purple Palms Resort & Spa boasts of an on-site restaurant, an outdoor pool and Spa. The resort has a gym, children’s playroom. The hotel is in a very ideal location. Hospitality, friendliness, cleanliness & Courtesy was the key highlight right from the start. The restaurant served wide variety of food , be it either breakfast or dinner, here kudos to the very well organized Mr Shekar & team. All other facilities, be it the gym, spa, pool & indoor sports area was very good. Highly recommend Purple Palms to those visiting Coorg.
