Welcome to Lalanga Homestay ! 🙏 Stay in a true Sri Lankan experience at Lalanga Homestay. I spent my best time in Sri Lanka with Yasith and his family! The house is located in a beautiful village that’s around 15mins tuktuk ride from the city. That’s not an issue for me because kandy city is a bit too overwhelming. If you’re also down for a local, chill and unique guesthouse experience you should definitely choose to stay here! My room is spacious and very clean. I had great sleep during my stay and it just feels so peaceful waking up to the green trees outside the window…. On top of that, everyone in the family is so so welcoming and nice. I had great conversations with everyone. They all have really interesting life stories to share❤️ Also make sure you try Yasith’s mom’s dinner. It’s so amazing!!

The room is large, the bed is comfy, I had a nice view of the lake, and even being on the main road, the windows are soundproof glasses, so the room is quiet.

Shalika arranged a full-day sightseeing tour of Kandy - and then drove us himself and provided very interesting explanations about every site and cultural highlights. He made our trip to Kandy very special and personal. The view is spectacular and the rooms are big and clean.
