Great stop while on our bike trip. We arrived on a Sunday and nothing is open near by. Luckily the owner gave us a ride to a cafe that was open.

Guarda Rios is a beachfront property set in Vila Nova de Milfontes, less than 1 km from Lighthouse Beach and a 13-minute walk from Patacho Beach. Everything was perfect. The host and staff were great. Breakfast had a variety of fresh fruits, whole breads and eggs specially prepared to your liking. Highly recommended.
