This is a fantastic lodge set in its own unspoiled mountain playground. It is rare to have a high-class hotel found in such a stunning location without having to share with other tourists. The staff are superb, and the Guides had encyclopedic knowledge of the local area and the extensive wildlife. Nothing was too much. The lodge really felt like a 'home from home'. So many activites to do - hiking, canoeing, E-biking to name a few.

Quiet neighborhood. There is an adorable house cat which shares the gîte, so be prepared for a good loving purrful cat! Breakfast was coffee and croissants/jam…. Very nice.

We walked on the trails near the resort and found ourselves surrounded by a beautiful alpine setting. The trails we went on took us up the mountain sides and along fabulous rivers, streams, and waterfall. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful - and friendly. The food was amazing. The staff even though very few spoke English, they did their best to find someone who did, and all of them were very friendly, and so the local people.
