Excellent location (5 min walk or less from Assi Ghat), large and comfortable bed, everything clean, pleasant rooftop breakfast experience, very helpful staff -- the hotel manager in particular, Saurabh, was extremely warm and welcoming. He helped me arrange taxis, know the local events, etc, and was very understanding when I arrived super-late / when my plans changed. I would stay here again next time, definitely.

Sona, her guesthouse and wonderful family have been the absolute highlight of my week stay in Varanasi. An ongoing source of joy, a deep well of information, a little Varanasi recommendation when required, the best chai masala in town, and an ever-present smile, it’s a joy to be with her. Sitting still is not part of Sona’s life, she’s always arranging things for her guests, always making their stays even better, or she’s in the kitchen doing her magic. Make sure to eat from the guesthouse’s menu as often as you can, the dishes are delicious and heartwarming. The food is one of the aspects that made me feel home here. The room had all amenities I could wish for, there are many shops and eateries nearby and Assi ghat, the usual southern starting point to explore the river and its ghats, is not even a 10-minutes walk from the guesthouse. Should I return to Varanasi one day, I can only wish Sona and her family have one of their rooms available. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. For now though, I cherish the tea spices Sona prepared for me as a reminder of her hospitality. Above and beyond! Helpful, warm, attentive, capable and service-minded.

Despite being fully booked, the host arranged alternate rooms. The staff, especially Cook Dinesh, were incredibly cooperative. The homely food served made the stay pleasant. Centrally located, it's within walking distance to Vishwanath temple and Dashaswamedh ghat. Overall, an exceptional experience with comfortable, clean accommodation and delicious food. Highly recommended.

The family that runs it is very loving. They will help you with anything you need. One of the best accommodations we stayed at in India. If we return to Varanasi, we would definitely go back.

Thank you : ) (n.b.: as most of accommodations near the ghats, taxis and rickshaws can't reach there and then drop you on the main road nearby, you'll then have to walk to your stay through the street maze... but it's really worthy ; ) )
