A lovely historic motel in the centre of Lone Pine. Perfectly placed for the local restaurants and excellent cafe across the street. The staff were friendly and helpful and accommodated our request for a room with a view (it was our honeymoon). Very charming and lots of history.

The lady at check in was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave! It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room cool. It was very close to restaurants and shops. Altogether, it was a very nice experience.

Being this a hostel, we expected the very minimum, but it offered more then some fancy hotels we stayed at. Great value for money. Receptionists very kind and helpful. Fridge and table in the room, space for your luggage, coffee machine available. Easy parking. Great surroundings, near the Alabama Hills. All much appreciated.

I was in Lone Pine to climb Mount Whitney. As a "base camp", the hotel is well-located as it is close to the road to the trailhead. I could also walk the main street of Lone Pine to find a restaurant. Room amenities were just fine. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Fridge was cold and AC worked. WiFi reception in the room was excellent. A very fast and secure network. Plenty of ice in the ice making machine also!
