The staff were very welcoming what you'd expect in country Australia. Clean and quiet place to rest and was grateful for the air-conditioning as it was hot. Great halfway place to stay to the country race tracks. The decor of the hotel has charm.

Lovely atmosphere when we arrived lots of people at the pub having a meal or a few drinks while waiting to watch the state of origin. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The meal was delicious and very tasty. Our room was upstairs there was a facility to make beverages. I had an ovaltine and hubby made a coffee before retrying to bed. It was a pleasure laying in bed and listening to the people downstairs enjoying the footy eventhough it's not my thing. I had a peaceful sleep the bed was comfortable. The rooms are simple nothing fancy just practical neat and clean.The bathroom is old but so is the building but that gives the place lots of character. Upon leaving we were uncertain what to do with the key found a cleaner and gave her a fright as she had headphones on.She was a lovely lady and we chatted for awhile. During our discussion we learnt that the food on the menu was mainly handmade at the premises. The cleaner said her daughter makes cheesecake for them but only available at lunchtime. Damn will have to plan to travel through at lunchtime to taste the cheesecake. Definitely will be back .

Just a 5 minute drive from the centre of town, at the Chinchilla Motel, we offer country comfort Motel style. Location was just on the outskirts of town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable. Definately a hidden gem. If ever in chinchilla again we will stay here.

We stayed in chookery and I enjoyed the cabin thoroughly. It's located walking distance from town centre which is convenient. It's one of it's kind and the staff is so amazing and relaxed too. The bathtub experience after sunset in the balcony was simply beautiful. The whole place is quite and serene. We did kayaking and bonfire every day too. I will definitely go back there.

Centrally located in Chinchilla, this motel features an outdoor pool and a breakfast/function room that offers full breakfast options. Absolutely wonderful - amongst the top places I have stayed in over the last five months and, as I move on almost daily when I am on the road, I've stayed in a great many places. Super space, marvellously comfrotable bed with great towels and wifi was quick and easy.
