Based on other reviews, we were not expecting much from Hotel Alexander but we were pleasantly surprised during our stay. We didn't arrive until 4am from a flight and the staff were there to greet us as we arrived in the taxi, they helped take our bags inside, and the receptionist spoke very good English which was helpful as our Spanish is very weak. Our room was very clean, the shower was warm and worked well, the bed was comfortable, the wifi was not very strong in the room but it worked well enough, and the breakfast was great. Check out was simple and reception booked us a taxi and negotiated a very fair price for the taxi as well. We were very impressed. It is a great hotel for a quick stop if you are arriving from the airport or headed to the airport.
