Ramada by Wyndham Belfast is located in the heart of town in the Cathedral Quarter of Belfast's city centre. It was central to everything and the staff were lovely.
Great for a weekend (3 night stay). Hotel in city centre and the cit6 is quite small and easy to navigate on foot. Great restaurants of high quality. We ate at Blank, just outside the centre, great dining experience and Stock in the market was lively and good quality food. There were loads of pubs with good bar menus. Titanic and Game of Thrones experience very good but watch for crowds at the Titanic experience. Friendly people in all bars, restaurants and hotel. Plenty of taxis at a good price if needed. Welcoming and enjoyable city with lots of tours and interests which easy to walk around.
Our host made us feel very welcome in our accommodation which was in a wonderful location. The lodge was extremely clean, with a lovely gesture of homemade bread and eggs. As dog owners it was great that our pet was also made to feel as welcime as the rest of the family.
Hollywood is a good location, near to both Belfast and Bangor for those travelling along the coastline. The choice of shops is good, particularly for tea/coffee and breakfast in the mornings. The Dirty Duck is a great location for a drink or a bite to eat too. There’s a train station which seems to have a fairly regular service in either direction too. The view across the lough is stunning on a clear day. Peaceful, calm atmosphere in town. We enjoyed it.
A luxurious little hideaway, safe, secure, clean and welcoming. Perfect for solo travellers who want to visit Belfast or take to the coast. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the finish to the chalet is to a high standard. I really enjoyed our stay and would stay again without question.
Good historical tours of the city. Mostly free. Bus drivers helpful. The Titanic was closed for repairs to the roof. Note that the Ulster Museum is very good but closed on a Monday. Very wet weather!
How this gets a 9.9 rating is beyond me ! It is unloved, dirty, cluttered, smells of dog and dust, garden overgrown mess, needs a deep clean less stuff around could be a lovely little place but we were very disappointed not like pictures, the host was nice and friendly and left loaf of bread and butter and milk but that doesn’t make up for terrible messy dirty lodge.Such a shame but have to be honest.Booking.com you need to revisit this property!
Like many hotels in Belfast it seems, it’s very central to the city, meaning it’s incredibly easy to walk anywhere within most of the time. Also very close to Europa Bus Station from where you can get the express bus to and from George Best Belfast City Airport cheaply. Good sized room, very comfortable mattress and a decent breakfast offering (hot and cold buffet, plus Continental options etc). Lots of pubs, bars and restaurants nearby. Very pleasant and helpful staff on the reception desk.
