We went snorkeling twice, once on the boat, and once right from shore and both were magical experiences. Plus, whoever is the cook there is fantastic!! Their fresh seafood is out of this world, one night I even had squid cooked in its own ink, which I normally would be scared to try, but it was so delicious it blew my mind! And they know how to make doughnuts which they serve for breakfast... This is truly as idyllic as it gets!!

It's a fishing village, so not sure you can get vegetarian options :) The beach is right behind the house, and snorkeling is good. The room is spaceous, and the internet is excellent. They are friends with a place a few minutes walk from here, and I've hung out there from time to time. If you want to shop, need to go to Kudat, which is around 20min by motorized vehicle.
