Location wise was fantastic for us. During our stay we visited the Hobbiton Movie Farm and enjoyed a day at the Waitomo Caves. Breakfast was a banquet and sustained us for an entire day. Having enjoyed beautifully prepared fresh fruits, baked goods and a hearty cooked breakfast. The room was stunning over looking the beautiful gardens, the bed was super comfy and the spa was so relaxing. Sue and Neil were fantastic hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay a very memorable one. We felt so comfortable and at home in their gorgeous home and gardens and are so grateful for the warm welcome we received. Highly recommend Vila Walton, you won't be disappointed.

The house itself is a true miracle, and Jen's hospitality is the top of all. Her recommendation to visit the Opal hot spring just lifted the level of our journey. Nice & clean, very friendly hosts & overall a great place to stay for the night. Loved that they had nice bathroom products as I forgot my personal ones & didn't have to use cheap single packets like other places. Also my daughter loved feeding the baby lambs in the morning!

It was so comfortable & because we had teenagers the pool table was used until they got too tired to stay up A small reserve area next to the property gave those that vaped somewhere to go for a walk & vape. My grandson left his watch behind & the host was kind enough to ring & let us know & put it in the post at no charge to us. I would highly recommend & we will definitely stop there again
