I love that there is a shared kitchen and living room space. The views are nice. There is plenty of parking if you have a rental car. The hosts were amazing and accommodating. They even made crepes for me for breakfast one morning! Everything is super clean and the bathroom was well equipped with everything you need. I will definitely stay again.

We stayed with her one night before picking up a charter yacht at the harbor on Raiatea. She filled us in on the good restaurants on Raiatea and gave us some good sailing advice from her legit sailing expertise.

Close to town but you’ll need a car. The apartment is open air, but the bedroom can be closed off to have air conditioning. It was hot and muggy, so that was a real plus. The kitchen is well supplied. John is a wonderful host.

This peaceful retreat boasts a large outdoor swimming pool with stunning sea views. Villa U'upa is situated just 10 minutes' from the heart of Uturoa and the ferry terminal. Guests enjoy free WiFi. The hosts were amazing and so friendly - I loved that we could chat with them and the other guests if we wanted to, and it felt like a super personable welcome to Raiatea. The room was nice, although I hadn't realized when booking that it was accessed via a ladder and had a shared bathroom that was downstairs. In either case though, this was the perfect place for us to stay for 1 night before taking off on a sailboat for a week, and I would recommend Villa U'upa to a friend coming to Raiatea.
