DO NOT STAY HERE!! The electric outlets do not work. We asked for a extension cord to plug in my husband’s breathing machine for him to sleep for a few hours after traveling for 15 hours and they said no. The carpet had huge dark stains all over it. The clerks were too worried about going to the bar across the street so they could drink more. They were already drunk when they were checking us in. They said my card was declined even though the money had already been taken out of my bank account. So they asked for my husband’s card. We both got charged for a room we didn’t and couldn’t stay in and they said we aren’t entitled to a refund of the double charge for a room we didn’t stay in because of my husband medical issues. I ended up driving all night because there were no rooms available within hundreds of miles. So essentially we were driving for over 30 hours. This is a terrible establishment with subpar drunken customer service,
I liked the size of the town. Not too big and not too small. The views of the mountains in the distance were awesome. I loved the Pony Bar & Grill near downtown Sheridan. I also loved shopping at the Sportsman's Warehouse. The employees there were very helpful. The town itself wasn't too crowded.
I really liked our room as I needed one on ground floor cause I can't do stairs BUT the breakfast was terrible. YOGURT in some big container, not individually. NO muffins/donuts, no eggs, no meat what so ever! This was really bad with a SMALL area to eat it in which was the very little that was there.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sheridan. We have family there, so the trip was extra special because we had the opportunity to site-see as well as be with family. Like most towns, Sheridan has many properties that exhibit the owners taking pride in caring for them. There were many others where the properties exhibited a lack of care. Perhaps there could be some kind of incentive program sponsored by the city to encourage people to take pride in keeping their property cared for. It could become a model for other smaller cities throughout the U.S.
Other motels we stayed in the last couple months had very unfriendly staff noisy traffic in the street Restaurants were not allowing you to dine in which took a lot away from what could have been a very enjoyable stay
I checked in and went to the floor where the room was and there were tons of doors opened and people smoking in all the rooms. I'm not sure what they were smoking. I never went in my room and went across the street and stayed at the Comfort Inn. I will dispute this charge when I receive my Visa bill. Super run down and disgusting motel.
