Excellent location in the old city with a view towards Tsarevets fortress. Very close to the central street. The rooms are clean and cozy, there’s everything needed for a good stay including reserved parking spot and a capsule coffee machine. Some other reviewers mentioned the steep street and I was worried but actually it wasn’t an issue at all. If you’re with a very low (sports) car you may have troubles but other than that it’s not a problem IMO.

I appreciate the fact that the owner could not rest until we found parking places on the narrow street outside the boarding house. Very generous breakfast with a wide range of cakes for those with a sweet tooth. The room was very large, with a balcony to giving a nice view of the city. When we come again, this is surely the place we will choose.

Situated in an old house with pine floors, the property has a rustic home-like feel and features very spacious dorm rooms. Downstairs there is a cosy common room with a decently equipped kitchen, plus a pillow seating area just outside the dorm rooms. Lockers are available but keys must be requested from reception. Toilet and shower were both quite clean and well set up.
