We fell in love with this wonderful place. The owners, Eleni and Yannis, are very friendly people. Very clean and comfortable location with all the necessary facilities, right next to the uncrowded sandy beach with free umbrellas and sunbeds. I checked, the sea is right at the bottom of the yard! Restaurants and shops are a few minutes' walk away. We have already booked another stay in September. Thank you Eleni and Yannis and see you in September.

Location was great. Quiet beach to have a swim before breakfast.. I recommend families to travel here together. Safe and peaceful.Having a view to the sea and beach whilst having breakfast was just so relaxing. Breakfast served with a smile 😊 all the time. Simple fare with fresh homegrown eggs cooked to how you like it. fresh squeezed orange juice 🥤. Available are yoghurt jams etc. there is a bar and meals served . Great value for your money. Would definitely come back with family.

I really enjoyed everything about the accommodation. the staff was extra friendly, the pool amazing, very clean, everyday a nice lady came and cleaned our room, the host was really nice and helpful with everything (we needed a cab for 4 in the morning to leave for the airport and she arranged it for us) also you can book tours directly from the property. there’s a bus station nearby (5 min walk) to take u to Chania or any other beach or place you want to go to (the bus fare is 2e/person). Also there are a few restaurants nearby with very good food (we tried Sinantisi, Bossa Nova and Filosofos and were delighted) also I recommend on Monday nights to go to Sinantisi for a greek night it was the best possible start for our holiday. The beach is right in front of the hotel, there are outdoor showers if u need it on the property, and the closest part with sunbeds is to the right of the property walking on the beach and they are free. We loved it there and it was also really nice that it wasn’t so crowded as other parts of Chania. so if you want a relaxing holiday, being able to avoid the crowds and still enjoy nights out and nice restaurant, Matzi Apartments is the place to go.

Very friendly family owned small hotel. A bit far from the main street, but there's a bus every 20min. Or just rent a car. The facility is basic but sufficient and great value for money. We were let to check out at 2000 with no problem and at no additional cost, which was very nice. The overall experience was great.

This was an absolute gem to find! Wonderfully quiet and peaceful location, set up away from the main road but only a 5-10 minute walk to small shops and beach with a few cafes. Exquisite garden all around the apartments with a beautiful pool. I could see the sea from my bed and I had 2 little terraced balconies! The apartment was comfy and well furnished, with nice artistic touches. Ana and her husband were such lovely people, and so kind to give me a lift on my last day with heavy luggage to my airport shuttle transfer stop. A really beautiful and special place to stay ❤
