This was our first time in Astypalaia and staying at Castellano Village made it an unforgettable experience. The hotel is located at a very lovely spot in the middle of the island with an amazing view of the sea. What makes it more special is the exceptional service of the owners, Nicolas and Christina. They make sure you get all the information you need to enjoy the surrounding area and the island. The hotel has a nice pool and a small taverna with great service. The room was clean and with nice details and you can enjoy watching the sunset from the balcony. Amazing beaches are accessible by foot, including Blue Harbour (Μπλε Λιμανάκι) and Plakes (Πλακες). We definitely recommend staying here if you visit Astypalaia!

The hosts are really welcoming, heart-warming and helpful. We were picked up and also brought back to the port (and got help with our luggage) on our departure day. We were getting very helpful tips about which beach we should visit according to wind and weather forecast. Apart from the above, we received little homemade treats of local products everyday. The rooms were very clean. Next to the rooms there was a nice little beach for a morning dive (2min. walk). The rooms had a sea/beach view, which was amazing. The perfect getaway! The rooms were very quiet and only 10min walk to town. The biggest supermarket of the island was round the corner. We would definitely recommend Votsalo! The overall experience of our stay was very good!

Excellent accommodation, close to all main attractions, beach, bakery, restaurants, bars, the castle, the port etc. Very clean, with very helpful staff and a nice breakfast. Would recommend!

LARA Italy

The studio is located half way between the port and the old town. We are very thankful to the owners as they coverd our taxi ride on arrival day. Infact from the port it is a steep road with several steps. On departure day it is an easy downhill walk to the port even with suitcases (max. 10min walk). The kitchen is very well equipped (including washing machine), toiletries are provided and there's even a first aid kit with disinfectant and patches (very useful!). The studio is new and its decorations are very accurate. The bed is on a separate mezzanine just above the kitchen (six steps) but very well designed so to create a very nice and cosy area detached from the rest of the studio. A safe is also provided. Breakfast is delivered daily and it includes bread, muffins (sweet and savoury), butter, honey/jam, juice. Maria was very accommodating with my breakfast needs and adjusted it according to my request. Thank you Maria! The old town is 10min uphill walking distance and you can find two grocery stores just before the windmills area. Restaurants and cafés very handy. We enjoyed our dinner at Salis (again we thank Maria for the suggestions) but you need to book as they don't have many tables. We also enjoyed the nice views over the city from our terrace with beautiful sunrises. Finally we appreciated the late check out possibility on departure day.

Very spacious room, rustic style. Bathroom very modern. Owner Mr Yiannis was extremely hospitable and kind and so was his fluffy dog Marcos! The view from the room was amazing! Location very convenient. Very quite. Room was done every day. We had a great vacation and we would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Galaxy. The views from the balcony are spectacular and can't be beat. The space is comfortable and very nice for two. The communication was easy with host and a transfer from the airport was much appreciated and helpful. The father of the house was very easy to be in touch with and held ir luggage because our ferry was not until later in the day. Bed very comfortable, pillows a bit hard. Highly recommend Galaxy!

A wonderful breakfast was served every morning . The room was large and well equipped for our needs plus the bed was seriously comfortable. The view was stunning. The staff were very very helpful and kind. Really appreciated the transfer organised from the port.
