Apartment was clean and safe, neighborhood was wonderful and Patricia was a wonderful host, dealing with some crazy logistics on our part. My husband and I kept comparing her place to some places we stayed in Tuscany, Italy. Ecuador is a hidden gem! Also if you are traveling with a late arriving flight, have Patricia arrange airport transport, her driver is wonderful.

Located 1 km from Cuenca's historical centre, Apartamentos Otorongo offers self-catering accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Traditionally built apartment complex very close to Cuenca historic centre. Our apartments (we extended our stay so had to move) were simple, but the beds were excellent and there were ample facilities for self catering. We found the rooms well soundproofed. The staff were very friendly and there is secure off street parking. It's about ten minutes walk to the historic centre and many restaurants and bars.
